Did you also not spend any of your training points until level 8? How can you have no other attribute over 20...

well, it took a while, I built up my Str to 30 before I spent any Skills. Then I ran it to triple cap. Haven't used my lvl 8 eq... will start working on the other Attrs now. I still have some Skills left to use.

Intense train is not the best way to go. normal train anf build up shopping tokens for later when you get AEQ. It also helps you cap a attribute faster. In your case it looks like you did that with strength. I am currently level 6 and been saving all my skill points as well but will probably put into speed. I am not going for power back though. I am going to try substituting high stregnth for high carrying.. anyone tried that?

Intense training is the best: When you get a breakthrough it counts for two attributes instead of one. You get multiple attributes up faster and the skill ups on level aren't mostly wasted on attributes that are easily trained up. You build up tokens for your advanced gear and have plenty when you are 30+ to shop and shop and shop and have a great line up of items. Don't buy gear, its a waste of training money, you wont be competitive anyways for a while and most of the game is 30+ since 1 to 28 are the quickest levels. Building up 50 shopping tokens won't help if you find a great item on your 2nd roll. Then you'll be wishing "Damn, I should have got advanced tokens and I would be able to upgrade this already." Intense training is faster, a lot faster, than if you are to do it by Normal + Shopping. Whole point in slow building is to get to your target caps as fast as possible to get the most benefit from the auto skills on leveling.

High carrying < High Strength. Strength helps in not fumbling, but not near as much as carrying. Carrying helps break tackles but not near as much as strength.

Worst advice ever. When Intense training you get a 25% bonus to both attributes and a bonus token. Tokens that can be used to give temp boosts, extra SP to cap faster, or get AE. My guy is one level lower than this guy, has the same primary attribute at the second cap (speed instead of strength), has 2 other attributes way higher than this guy, and has 6 sp banked.

Terrible build. And normal training at such a low level is stupid.

Normal training below ~20 is more efficient. But once you get it past that you need to switch to intense.

Interesting debate regarding intense vs normal training--keep it going!

You might want to consider doing a LOT of reading up on the way the training system, shopping token and bonus tokens work.

"I am going to try substituting high stregnth for high carrying.. anyone tried that?" says you are going to work on strength in place of carrying. That comes right after you said "I am not going for power back though" so I have to wonder what you mean. Are you going high speed and high strength or high speed and high carrying?

Either way you are probably going to find you need agility to get any use out of your high speed.

Nice start to that build. Question: what's the thought process behind banking the 6 SPs?

My level 50 FB has strength in the 90s and carrying barely above 40. He's gotten a fair share of touches and has fumbled only once since season. However, I'm not sure how the swap has impacted other aspects of his game.

Slow building, don't spend skill points until you have trained the skill up somewhat and can cap the ability to maximize the automatic attribute gains you get every time you level up. If you put the skill points into the stat then you would get less training bonus from working on it and it would actually take longer to cap it.
