Does anyone know what stats CPU punters have? They're doing well again this season, after sucking last season, but being awesome the season before. This one is third in the league for yards per punt, right ahead of me:

Now, his punting bar isn't very high, but his overall bar is, and he ends up being a decent, but not great, punter. But it leads me to believe that minor stats other than strength/agility/vision help considerably with punting totals, like speed/jumping/stamina and even something absurd like throwing. It can't be tackling because his tackling bar isn't higher than it'd be with those other stats capped, but I'm wondering what stats he has that make him get a decent average. Is he pumping speed or jumping or stamina or throwing or which specific stat?

Hah, I've been watching my punter's build closely for 8 seasons and I'm only slightly better than a CPU punter.

They need to nerf the hell out of the CPU punters.

This is the best cpu punter in my league (pos.10 or something on average.)

He looks quite similar to your Olsen guy.

I was this close {...} to retiring my Punter last season and having the Gm sign a CPU guy in my place. In order to stay on the team I've had to start posting funny jokes in the forum, and I'm starting to run out of jokes

maybe the CPU punters have high str? since it doesnt affect the punting bar it might make some sense

Looking at the Overall bar, my guess is that they have fewer SPs in SAs and more points total in the 7 or 8 build attributes that are important to punters (like we might work a stat to a 3rd cap, a cpu punter may spend the SP first on stats below 48). As Octowned's analysis showed, even a punter with lots of SP in Agility and Jumping performs.

This is what I was thinking. Maybe it's more worthwhile to soft cap every minor (except throwing?) before working on doubling any one stat other than confidence/punting. 1 strength/vision may not be as worthwhile as 2 agility/speed/jumping. Don't quote me on that for sure, but somehow these CPU punters are doing well with what must be a rather low punting stat, given their low punting bar.

Bort said that CPUs don't use SAs.

Also Net Punt isn't the most important stat. If they are driving it down the center but giving up 20 yards to the return because the team doesn't have time to get to the KR/PR then they are not helping matters. Has anyone watched a CPU punter game to game to see if they are comparable in more than just stats.
