What is the best setting to stay close to a WR and knock the ball down? Most of the time our CBs are way off and never make plays

if you're heavily out matched then going on medium may or may not help based on how good your safeties are

If you don't have cap'd jumping and high vision + super vision I would use close/semi.
If you have high jumping and vision I would go with close/aggressive unless you are outmatched by more then a few levels.
