Your AI??? Why is that because you want a scrimmage game to test your team in a controlled series of plays?
We will take our beating like men, knowing that one day in the higher leagues we will meet again on a more level playing field and revenge will be sweet!
That said, by all means if you want to make the game more competitive, you are free to deactivate some starters and give your backups a runout you will still win but it might only be by double digits rather than triple digits!

Not to worry, I am a pragmatist and realise that this is a game, this is one of 4 games on our schedule it is experience and can we get some points!
It is a bit like an NFL team playing a college team, at least this season we have some easy games ourselves but then as you say it is not as much fun then. The close match ups are the games I enjoy real strategy and matchup's.
The Chicago game on our schedule is the next real test of application

I did the scouting on you guys. We are really quite screwed. Your backups are better than our starters. This won't be close at all.
I saw you guys didn't get promoted and I have no idea how you guys are still down here! No offense meant but I will be really happy to not face you for a few seasons ! From the looks of it you guys will sail through the league above also.
