I have several points to assign and I welcome suggestions on where to go from here.

You've got a good punting average, but how are you doing with Coffin Corners? Looking at your build I'd say that most people will suggest you work on your Confidence to get it as high as Vision.

I don't know how others are doing on coffin corner punts so I don't know how I compare.

I've never taken a tick mark tally or anything but every game I get one or two out inside the five/ten yard line. It seems like more go O/B inside the 20 than go into the end zone with most of those going out inside the 10 and a few going out inside the five.

I just verified my performance and out of 31 punts this season, 11 have been Coffin Corners and 8 have been touchbacks. When I look in more details, 17 of my punts have come from inside the Opponents half, and that's where I've got all 8 of my touchbacks from.

So if my team had a better field goal kicker I would have fewer punts and fewer touchbacks (and less XP!) so in my case I should be working on Confidence to further improve my CC ability, or something like Jumping to try and increase hang time.

Your case is probably pretty different. I suggested Confidence because that stat seems much lower compared to the rest of your stats, but if you are punting from deep in your own half and still getting a decent amount of CCs you might have the luxury of putting those SP somewhere else. While some people make a big deal over whether the CC pinned the other team inside the 5, 10, or 20 I'd probably look at the length of the punt before deciding whether that's a good or bad result. For instance if you kicked a 50 yarder and pinned them inside the 18 I'd call that a really good result, whereas a 37 yarder that pinned them at the 17 would be less of an accomplishment, but still better than giving up a return.

Nope. Higher.

Interesting you have such a huge average. maybe str does more than I gave it credit for. As stated, you need to look at coffin corners yup which is conf > vis

As others had said, conf for a while.

So confused... so confused...

eh check my punter out. he had an awful first game but since then he is RIDIC. getting the same average 10 levels lower, with 50 strength.

This guy is at 48.3 yards/punt... wish I could tell you the magic recipe to his success... but he is pretty average all around in his build. What's funny is that he was my best punter last year, too. http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=565911

Just compared your punts in Game 5 to Game 7. In Game 5 you were human, in Game 7 you were super. I realize it is only 3 punts in each game, but was there anything different in your build or equipment between the two games? Because you were punting from the same relative position each game, yet in the second you got a lot of extra yards.

Nice CCs by the way. I'd better hope my owner doesn't see any of your games or I'm not getting a contract renewal.

We have top 3 MVP for each game and then total points for that for the season. Believe it or not, my punter is in 2nd place on the team for the season...

I've had no level ups between Games 5 and 7, so no change to stats. Didn't shift equipment either or add to AEQ. But a 62, 55 and 45 OOB for the only 3 punts... not bad.

I wish I knew what the secret factor was. Maybe its punters with 13 letters in their name?

It's sometimes confusing. And I am glad that even toppshelff and Octowned are confused. I always claimed that STRENGH and BIG BOOT is important, because of my first punter.

He always finishes in the top 5 of his league (even if outleveled by other punters), his average at the moment is 40,7y.

@Octowned : Just saw your last post on your project. My Punter was one of the best in his leagues in Season 5 and Season 6. Compared to others he was build on strengh and punting and I did not care about confidence back then.
