Didn't have a whole lot of time to put into it this time around. Next set will be better
1(3) - Singapore Marauders (5-0) - You can't argue with 5-0. Katanas and Bulldogs are no slouches, but i'm most interested to see how Singapore fares vs Bandar.
2(5) - Bandar Lampung Pigskin Pirates (4-1) - Huge win over rival ESL puts the Pirates back on track.
3(1) - East St Louis Tire Fires (4-1) - The Tire Fire's lost to Bandar, and took out there anger on the Allstars the following week. Rumors swirl that the ESL wideouts are contemplating changing there name from the Buncha Pussies to the Blouses with the arrival of Prince
4(4) - Pa Dong Dragons (4-1) - Yes they beat Bandar this season. But Bandar knocked them out of the playoffs last year, and the playoffs are where it matters most.
5(2) - Kamakura Katanas (4-1) - We will know just where they stand after the next 2 games.
6(6) - Krungthep Garudas (4-1) - Only loss came to Singapore, but still have most of the top teams left to play. Will be interesting to see how they fare against them this season.
7(7) - Manila Hitmen (3-2) - All I need to say about the Hitmen is anyone who doesn't respect LUN's boys before a game is crazy. Can hang with anyone in the league.
8(10) - Duluth Bulldogs (3-2) - I still keep looking at that week 1 game and wonder what happened? They face the Garudas this week, and if they want to be serious playoff contenders, need to get a win.
9(8) - Lost City Idols (2-3) - They are close to wrapping up possibly the toughest opening half in the league and can still come out of it at .500. That would be an impressive feat and bode well for their playoff chances.
10(12) - Guanhzhou United Fight Club (3-2) - This team is 2-2 in my eyes as the first game was a gimmie, and i'm not really sure what to think. They were handled fairly easily by the Katanas and Pirates, but did beat the Allstars. After they face Manila this week I'm hoping to get a better feel for them.
11(9) - P-Funk Allstars (1-4) - Very tough loss vs GUFC, with an absolute can't lose vs the Jungle Raiders this week. Following that is a stretch that will define the Allstars season: Lost city, Kamakura, Bandar, Singapore.
12(14) - Portland Dirty Penguins (2-3) - I really like how this team has performed the past few weeks, especially rebounding with a win after the heart breaker to Manila. They enter a must win game with the Clams this week, as they still have a very large hole to climb out of.
13(11) - Quahog Drunken Clams (1-4) - The Clams have hit some bumps, and absolutely can't lose to PDP this week. With the Dragons, ESL, Kamakura, the Pirates and Manila all still ahead, they don't have time to waste.
14(13) - Pattaya Jungle Raiders (0-5) - Not how they wanted to return to the league, although they are entering the easiest part of the schedule. It's now or never for the Raiders.
15(15) - Chaiyaphum Gothic (0-5) - Things aren't looking good for the Gothic, and facing ESL looks bleak. If they fall to 0-6, the door to the playoffs is for all purposes slammed shut.
16(16) - Okinawa Leathernecks (0-5) - The Leathernecks have struggled, and the future doesn't look good. They have yet to face any of last season's Naga playoff teams yet.
