DrAtomic, agent for San Diego Bolts kicker Silvio Diliberto announced today a reworked contract between the San Diego Bolts and his client Silvio Diliberto. Allthough Silvio Diliberto was still under contract till the end of the season the contract was succesfully renegotiated. Part of the reworked contract included a promotion from third string kicker to the new starting kicker forcing a demotion of former starter Harry Dunn.
Financial terms of the one year deal were not disclosed.
DrAtomic was quoted as saying "His outstanding work ethics and dedication towards the team and community made my job easy. He really earned this for himself".
Rumors that the new contract was forced under threat of a possible trade demand which would cause the team to loose out heavily on the recently released new stock of Diliberto related merchandise were fiercly dismissed as false and are identified as possibly orginating from former starting kicker Harry Dunns agent.
Silvio Diliberto himself was quoted as saying: "I'm proud to continue to be a San Diego Bolt", "the potential of our team is huge", "I see us achieve great things in the near future".
Neither Silvio Diliberto nor his agent wished to comment on Harry Dunns brutal fallout with the coaching staff earlier today when the news of Diliberto winning over the starting job leaked during practise. DrAtomic: "You'll have to talk to Harry Dunn himself or his agent for more information about that".
Team owner Randal Kay was unable to attend the press conference.
