I was going to do this for the East too until I realized how freakin long this takes! I tried to tell the story of the game as best as possible...so it's mostly key highlights with some commentary.

Washington Wolfpack 56 - 13 Spicewood Longhorns:

The Wolfpack set the tone early by running the ball down Spicewood's throats, and giving up minimal gains on defense. This pitch to Partlow put them up 28-3, which was the score going into halftime.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373167&pbp_id=5200973

The Wolfpack would continue their rout in the 2nd half with 2 TDs to Quintin "Give me the ball" Flint...1 from each QB:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373167&pbp_id=5202739
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373167&pbp_id=5204658

Wolfpack have a relatively easy time against Spicewood, and improve to 4-0 while the Longhorns sit at 2-2.

Honolulu Hurricane Warriors 45 - 10 Chicago Hedgehogs

The Wangs take on USA Pro West newcomers, the Hedgehogs. Will the Hogs be able to improve their reputation in Pro?

Surprisingly, it was all the HHW defense to start the game as they force some KEY turnovers.

A pick by Willie Hester in their own territory saves at least 3 points:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373113&pbp_id=5186888

Dwight Mathis gets into the backfield and reads this screen pass all the way as he takes it in for 6. Look at that big man move! Warriors go up by 17.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373113&pbp_id=5187609

More problems on the screen as the Hogs try it inside their own 5 and Ray makes them pay. Safety for the Warriors...they go up by 19 and get the ball back.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373113&pbp_id=5188472

After a scoreless 3rd quarter, Jamarkus McCrazyFeet finds some room on the off-tackle, and takes it to the house, putting the game out of reach for the struggling Chicago offense.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373113&pbp_id=5191001

Honolulu is rolling this season sitting at 4-0. Hogs sit at 3-1.

Lincoln Navigators 51 - 6 Columbus Bucks

The Navs are looking like they're picking up right where they left off last season and are rolling (on 24s) through the opening part of their schedule.

Jason Shock runs it right up the gut making 4 people miss on this 30 yd TD:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373128&pbp_id=5198365

After a slow 2nd and 3rd quarter, Voodoo finds Julius Jefferson open for 6:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373128&pbp_id=5203414

On the ensuing kickoff, Mushroom Stamp forces a fumble, and Heraldo Pwnzor takes it to the endzone. The Navs score 14 points in 19 seconds:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373128&pbp_id=5203576

Shonn Greene does what he does best and runs straight at the Bucks defense:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373128&pbp_id=5204040

Lehigh Jones seals the deal with a pick-6 as he jumps the route:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373128&pbp_id=5204607

The Navs stubborn D force 3 more turnovers, 2 returned for TDs. They improve to 4-0 and the Bucks continue to struggle at 0-4.

Monmouth Evil Monkeys 27 - 22 South Bay Spartans

After a pair of almost identical FGs, Larry Csonka rushes for a tough 8 yds as he punches it in the endzone for 6:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373204&pbp_id=5186376

In the 2nd, Drago would connect with Shokohzadeh for a 18 yd TD through the air
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373204&pbp_id=5187634

-However, after some pretty good defensive stands, and 4 FGs in the quarter, South Bay keeps it close at 12-17 going into the half.

After this 24 yd pitch and run, Larry Smith would punch it in himself from close as South Bay temporarily takes the lead at 19-17.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373204&pbp_id=5190291

However after another long drive, Csonka would answer right back with a TD of his own. Monkeys up 24-19.

Merlin Olsen has Johnny Legend shook as he hurries him into this throw which is picked off by Pat McRotch (lol). Olsen still managed to get a hit on the QB, and the INT was returned 18 yds.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373204&pbp_id=5191899

This would prove to be South Bay's undoing as Monmouth go on to score another FG to go up by 2 scores. 27-19.

Gary Keiaho seals the deal with this hurry and deflection on 3rd and G to hold South Bay to yet another FG:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373204&pbp_id=5193129

The Monkeys had a little trouble against a team they should beat, but in the end did everything right to win the game. They improve to 3-1 after a shaky start. South Bay needs to start turning some of these FGs into TDs if they want to have a shot at winning against the best. They fall to 1-3 although they've played some very good teams closely.

Bourbon Street Bullies 22 - 0 Richmond Rebel Yell

The Virginians travel to the Bayou to take on a strong looking Bourbon Street Bullies team with something to prove after their loss to Lincoln.

Bourbon Street maintain a solid opening drive with the highlight being Mister Quick's 3rd down off-tackle 12 yd gain to put them right on the close enough to the goal line for Boom Boom Johnson to eventually finish off.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373155&pbp_id=5197827

RRY couldn't get ANYTHING done in the first half, while BSB slowly but surely increased their lead with 2 more FGs. BSB goes into the locker room up 13-0.

After getting driven on for 7 minutes straight, Richmond's AC Slater cleans DaLep Ra Con's clock and has him seeing hearts, stars, horseshoes, clovers, and blue moons, etc on the goal line screen to hold BSB to a FG:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373155&pbp_id=5202382

Unfortunately for the Yell, this wouldn't matter in the long run as BSB go on to score 2 more FGs, and leave Richmond with the big fat donut. Is the third coast offense dead?

Minnesota Marauders 26 - 9 Las Vegas Freebirds

Minnesota has underachieved at the start of the season, and looks to get a big statement win against a very good Freebird team trying to bounce back after a loss to the Pack.

The game starts out slow as the Freebirds put the first points up on the board, but it's only 3. Minnesota would answer on their ensuing drive with 3 more. LOLB Daryl Smith makes a great play in the backfield on 3rd down to force a Marauder FG.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373178&pbp_id=5187520

Minnesota's O-line holds strong as Krist and Gan have time to deliver deliver the ball long to Brent Slicer and Santonio Holmes on this drive to set up an eventual Frank Gore TD.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373178&pbp_id=5188214
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373178&pbp_id=5188471

After spiking the ball 3 times in a row....for unknown reasons, the Marauders take 3 more from the Freebirds with a 20 yd FG right before the half. Marauders lead 13-3.

The Freebirds need to put some points on the board, but are held to only 3 when The Wall gets a huge sack on Biggs Darklighter on 3rd down.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373178&pbp_id=5190673

The two teams would then trade FGs as the Marauders come right back with one, followed by a Freebird FG, then another Marauders FG. The Freebirds can't seem to narrow this lead, and are running out of time.

Krist closes the game out for good when he finds Ash Ketchum 1 on 1 downfield for the 41 yd TD.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373178&pbp_id=5193325

Marauders go up 26-9, and improve to 2-2 after a rough start. The Freebirds also sit at 2-2 after the game, and are surely looking for ways to get the ball moving, and score 7 instead of 3.

San Diego Lightning 42-0 Dallas Vaqueros

After a nightmare season almost ending in relegation, Dallas look like they're turning things around going into this game with 2 wins...1 off of their win total from last season. The Lightning look to prove to all the naysayers they can play at this level, but have fallen short against the good teams they've played.

After a scoreless 1st quarter, Cujo Hellspawn gets the sack and safety to give the Lightning a small lead.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373210&pbp_id=5187008

Rifle Arm finds Hammer Mcgurkin on the Strong Flood. After a nice Spin move, Mcgurkin finds himself in the endzone, and the Lightning go up by 9.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373210&pbp_id=5188408

The 3rd quarter belongs to San Diego as they go up by 25 with this TD:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373210&pbp_id=5191809

This game would prove to be all Lightning as this 50 yd TD give them an insurmountable 5 TD lead:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373210&pbp_id=5193611

Dallas' D continues to struggle. Diego gets another win, but can they perform against the good teams? Only time will tell.

Compton Vikings 28 - 20 Parma Burglars

The loud-mouth Compton team hosts former AAA1 champs Parma in Autzen Stadium as they look to continue to prove they are a playoff team in the tough West.

Mr. Iwill LockYouDown gets a clutch pick in his own territory to keep Parma off the board.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373142&pbp_id=5199359

After a couple of good defensive stands, the Compton offense eventually strikes with a TD-capped drive. Here is the play that got them in the red zone:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373142&pbp_id=5200269

Jake Blake impressively gets to the QB on 3rd & 10 to force a FG from Parma:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373142&pbp_id=5200761

However Compton's rush D continues to struggle as Parma maintains a long drive capped off by a 5 yd Joey Smoke TD:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373142&pbp_id=5201891

Tarvaris Jackson would answer right back with this 29 yd strike to former Misfit Tim Jackson to go up 14-10 at halftime:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373142&pbp_id=5202305

Another pick thrown by Will Air-It-Out to Chuck Cecil sets up a TD scoring drive by Compton
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373142&pbp_id=5203264

Will Air-It-Out lives up to his name with this AMAZING long pass to Quick Six for...well...a quick six to answer Compton's. PAT is good. 21-17 Compton.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373142&pbp_id=5203807

Parma would go on to score a FG bringing them within 1.

However Compton would close out the game nicely as the sustain a long drive finished off by another Tim Jackson TD:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373142&pbp_id=5205143

Compton improves to 2-2 as Parma continues to struggle in Pro.

To the "Spikes the Ball three times for some unkown reason" comment. Take a look at the end of the second quarter of last seasons championship game and you'll figure it out. (I couldn't figure out any other way to do it)

Also, http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=373178&pbp_id=5192956 was one of the plays of the game (most won't look at it, that is why I'm posting it). Looks like an INT but Skeeter rips it away and the drive continues for the killer TD.

Great job on these Sik.

On another team I OC, I have a 2nd/4th quarter-specific output to kick a field goal if there's under 30 seconds, 0 timeouts left and within field goal range. Works like a champ.

Interesting, funny thing that is exactly what I had last season and it didn't kick it...twice.

My only issue with that Galk would be the time remaining when you executed it. Outside :20 you can call a pass play and then execute the Spike the Ball stuff.... otherwise, the 3 times is the easy way to set it up to ensure you don't end up with a down and time remaining combination that misses the Spike and results in no points...

Our OAI does the same thing... only slightly later in the time -
From our slow build team:
0:30 2nd & 10 OPP 18.5 Blaze McArm pass to Twinkle Van Winkle over the middle [deflected by Brick Tamlend] (11.5 yd gain) [tackle: Brick Tamlend] Replay
0:15 1st & G OPP 7 Blaze McArm spikes ball Replay
0:15 2nd & G OPP 7 Blaze McArm spikes ball Replay
0:15 3rd & G OPP 7 Blaze McArm spikes ball Replay
0:15 4th & G OPP 7 24 yd field goal attempted by Buster Cherri, made [FG]

Until the time to execute plays is accurate and realistic, just putting that in can be a killer... :31 left and you don't kick a FG... instead you run the ball and bam, time expires...

If we run a play with 22 seconds left the clock will expire...

or at least it would when it really counts. Trust me, I'd much rather run a play from the 3 yard line and spike it, but according to this game it can't be done in the 10 seconds it takes a real team to do it.
