before he sets up the block quite a bit. I assume he's just not fast eenough to keep up with me, but I wish there were a way to make my HB wait for the blocks to develop. Do any attributes help that? Vision perhaps?

It really is the sim. My HB is on a team with a FB that is close to the same speed as me, but there are some plays where he just sits there for a second before he starts running, so I pass him up before he can set up the block.

once again another fb thinks blocking is more important than speed

Your H.B's running style has a lot to do with it as well. It's hard to block for power backs. It's easy to block for elusive backs. and really easy to block for super elusive backs. I guarantee you he is running on high power. Slowly tweak the slider down till he follows his fullback. Either that or let him run on what he wants and don't worry about it.

fuck you UD the first one is my back and is running at -50. I was telling the op that his fb is to blame not him. If you are sayiing it is the hb than your an idiot. The fb is meant to block for the hb. The hb should not have to change his tactics to make the fb worthwhile. Boo just mention to your fb that he would be alot more effective if he had more speed. Do not sound like his build sucks just act like it will be better for the team... fuck you Under dogs

i was simply helping the guy and underdogs comes on here and simply discredits everyone no matter what. Plus show me a full power back who has 100+ speed because they are not fast.

Don't know if you were talking to me or staggart, but if you were talking to me, my guy had ~110 speed and 75 agility and was running on zero (combo) that game. I've since switched my equipment around so my speed is down to ~85 and my agility is up to 101. I'm going to try moving my slider bar to +99 too, so hopefully my smooth moves in the backfield will give my FB more time to get in position and block somebody.

I'll report back after our game today.

I'd agree - speed & agility are the most important attributes for a FB needing to block for an elusive HB. All the strength & blocking in the world do not matter if the HB is running by you before you pass the LOS. Here are some examples of a very fast FB lead blocking for an elusive HB - this is how it should look:

my corner back is the best build you will ever see for a level 14 who doesn't cheat, or at least one of the elites for his level. haha
