Slow building him. First thing is Strength up to 48, then I think Speed up to 48, then Agility, Then Carrying. I dont care about blocking, I want a team that will use him strictly as a power runner in short yardage situations.

Overall, what do you think are the most important attributes in order? By level 40, what do you think the attributes should look like?

Speed is not a major or minor attribute for FB's so there is no benefit capping it early. After that first strength cap, you'll want to either take it to the next cap or move onto agility.

Should I wait until I have enough SP for the 2nd cap, or soft cap it and then start saving up for 2nd cap?

I would agree. Agility not speed.

Oh, and Go Gators.

From what I've learned building mine, and assuming you'll be slow building him:
1) Strength to 72
2) Carrying to 60
3) Agility to 60
4) Speed to 72
5) Fill out confidence/vision/stamina/jumping (should all be trained up by now)
6) Power Through + Quick Cut

Exactly, there's no speed bonus for FBs.

Sounds about right to me...though 72 natural speed will be a pain to get to. Also, I'd add catching to that training list. Some decent FB routes are out there.

Oh it'll suck alright, but when that nerf hammer comes down on brtk you're going to want that speed.

Take it from someone who felt it's wrath in S3.

Im also looking for Break Tackle Chance % AE from day one. I want every slot to have Break Tackle chancees to combine with 10 Break Thru SA and Bruiser VA up to 15. Thats the plan!!!

Well, that is certainly idealistic.

Not really needed TBPH... I have a single piece of % break tackle AE (fully upgraded for +19%). I break tackles like crazy, if he wasn't a season 1 player that built to block originally, I'm sure he'd be extremely nasty.
