I'm sure people have already asked that, but... didn't find in the forum.

just a quick researche. In your opinion what are the BEST VAs for WRs:

Speedster WR:
Posession WR:
Blocking WR:

There is no best because each build is different. Among the smartest choices:

Speedster: Ones that increase your speed. Track Star, it is the only VA that effects your speed.
Possession: Ones that improve catching. Sure Hands, soft hands, ball hawk, possession receiver.
Blocking: Ones that improve blocking. Downfield blocker or possession WR or great blocker.

Quick, Track Star are Speedsters' #1 priorities

Check out the test servers. This has been tested successfully there, but you can't just do YAC by itself if you want to break tackles with any consistency.

I have a level 31 WR w/ 8 YAC. 11.5 AVG, 4.7 YAC. YAC is up 2.5 from season 7. I have 2 Broke Tackles in 10 games (and 2 all of season 8).

I think I'm going to work strength a bit (only 11) to see if it helps. I don't plan on being more than a #3 WR so I've got flexibility/time.

Just remember YAC Attack only works on passes under 7 yards.

Out of curiosity, would slippery and bruiser stack as long as you set your running style to 50%?

No, you have to set it to 50 one way or the other. 'Balanced' style is 0.

YAC Attack works better if you've already maxed out Bruiser

This discussion is moot if Bort removes VAs.

He's thinking about completely getting rid of VAs now? I thought he was only getting rid of the attribute ones.

Who knows. If he gets rid of the attribute ones it will only be a matter of time until he gets rid of the other ones. There isn't a valid argument against the 1% VAs, and all the outlandish claims of how 1% VAs are destroying will still remain if they are removed, the claims will just fall on other VAs and we'll repeat the process until there aren't any left.
