Anyone find something that is especially effective? I am talking about the SAs...not attribute bonuses. Is there a good VA I should be looking out for? I am kind of a hybrid...but I am aiming more to for a hard hitter.

I love me some change direction and swat ball. Super vision is still pretty good for them too. he has played his whole career with 0 in closing speed up to this point. So I don't really think it's vital to success.
he has also played his whole career with 2-2-1-1-1 in the hard hitter tree. That really hasn't handicapped him much. If you want to be a true hybrid get your str up high, get some hard hitting going, but still be fast enough agile enough, and able to see enough to play good pass defense, and still be able to run down the hb on any given play good thing is speed agility and vision work well for both defending passes and catching the ball carrier. From there it's sa's and secondary attributes.

Superior Purple Shirt +2 jumping, +1 Strong Base SA.
Upgrading it and combining with other good AE (e.g. w/ first step) should help you for more effective tackling.

I've said this before and i'll say it again.


Unless it's a decent SA with a +2 or +3 spd/agi/vis, i generally don't consider it. I have +3 agi with +1 Swat Ball, but i think i'm gonna go shopping for an upgrade

I have two that upgrade Big Hitter, and this season with so far a 15 in Big Hit mt SS is kicking butt. In the top 5 for Forced fumbles in our League along with some sack happy DEs, but my guy is getting his FF vs RBs not QBs like the DEs
