Is this working for anyone? I have had 1 touchback for a lvl 44 kicker with over 60 strength in 28 kickoffs. I also have 10 in booming kick.

So that should be a 30% chance at a booming kick? I used to dismiss some of the complaints because they were expecting a 3% roll to happen more than 1 out of 33 times, but 30% firing once in twenty eight is highly unlikely

highly unlikely, but still quite possible

I thought it is highly unlikely too - just seeing if anyone had any better success.

I only have 5 in booming kick and I have had ~10 out of about 60. That's 0.167, so it has been on par with what is expected. Considering that the rest of my kicks have given the opponents starting position around their own 40, I think it might be worth investing in, especially if you anticipate having close games.

Also, I think to accurately count the booming kicks you need to be looking at more than just touchbacks. I compiled my kicks on an excel sheet and calculated the median (booming kicks would count as outliers and will throw the average off) and standard deviation of my kicks. I considered anything greater than 1.5 standard deviations above median to be a probable booming kick. Try that and see if you get closer to 30%.

Did this - still looking at only about 13% booming kicks - still pretty low.

13% is reasonable, just a few unlucky rolls. You are still probably at 30% chance, so keep on watching and the more you kick the more likely you are to raise that average.
