i've been trying and trying to get a decent piece of advanced euipment for my TE. but never roll anything good. i landed 'diving catch' which is normally a WR piece. Is it worth buying for my receiving TE? should i hold out for a better roll? thanks

I had it all last season and didn't see any help from it. I would rather have one handed catch or jumping catch.

I have diving catch as well but have been waiting to equipt it till I built it a little and got my jumping up to the soft cap.

BSU mind if I ask what your TEs jumping was when you had equipted?

fully equipped (+4) with soft capped jumping you would probably notice something. that being said, how many times do feel it has to fire to be worth it? because i'm willing to bet that it will fire far less than that number.

I think your better off getting a piece that contains an SA you've invested in the receiving tree, or if not one that fires on every play not just very specific situations.

I don't disagree at all, just hard to get that angle that makes you "special," have hopes for the diving catch.
