WEPL ALPHA Power Rankings
1 (=) NFLUK Wembley Warriors.
Longest winning strek, Check. Best Record, Check. Convincing Wins, Check.
Just how long can Warriors keep it together? Have they peaked too soon?
Well do you want to face them in the playoffs?

2 (+1) Leverkussen Demons.
OK the problem with Ranking just on stats is sometimes I disagree with my own rankings. Demons are a good team, and will be in the play off picture, but 2nd, I am not so sure. Prove me wrong Demons.

3 (-1) Paris - Asnieres Molosses.
Paris fall one spot after their loss. This team are able to beat anyone on their day, but as other teams get hot they seem to be going off the boil.

4 (+3) Blackpool Mountain Lions.
Big jump up for Lions, and they can thank other teams losing as much as their own good form. This is a well organised team, and they are creating some momentum at the right time of the season. Dark horses or Legit threat for the Alpha Title?

5 (+1) Nice Dauphins.
An inconsistent season for a solid team, they will probably make the play offs, but could struggle against the top seeds.

6 (+2) Glastonbury Knights.
Some impressive results since being takenover mid season.
I guess they want to run with the top dogs after all, lets see if they can keep it up. With Blackpool the two teams likely to cause a post season upset.

7 (+2) Fightin Texas Aggies.
A Texan team won! All joking aside, FTA will be looking to secure that play off spot in the next few games. They have a lot riding on every game left.

8 (-3) NFLUK London Monarchs.
The loss of that 5 game win streak nearly had me in tears. Monarchs are now on the outside looking in on the Play off spots. Can they bounce back, or is this the start of a losing streak?

9 (-5) E-City Mercenaries.
Mercs went from second spot to outside the playoffs in a real short space of time. And they pay for it by dropping 7 places in two weeks in the Power Rankings.
They have a chance to get back on track against the Monarchs next game, winners can still look at the top spots, loser probably has to win out to make the playoffs.

10 (=) Stuttgart Nighthawks.
No move but back to .500 following 2 wins.

11 (+3) Valhalla Vikings.
Last time I wondered if Vikings could avoid getting pulled into relegation trouble.
Well they proved they are good enough to stay in the league with an upset win. Play Offs are a good ways off, but a team on the rise.

12 (-1) College Station TexAgs.
3 loses in a row, and not many positive signs. Its got to turn around at some point,
but will it be in time to rescue the season, or are they going to be fighting to stay up?

13 (-1) Lake Charles Who Dats.
Last game was impressive, but now it looks like that was more to do with the competition than the Who Dats.

14 (-1) Aggieland Wrecking Crew.
Hopefully they are building for next season. Question is what division will they be in? They get their chance to improve next time out against Warriors.

15 (=) Barcelona Supreme.
What can I say, their MVP this season is probably on the Stone Rollers pay roll somewhere.

16 (=) New York Stone-Rollers.
When you finish bottom in the NFL you get Draft Pick No1.
Here you get relegated.

------------------------------------------

In the Zeta conference lots of teams are newly acquired but the current top 8 Ranked teams are:

1 Rohrheim Stampede
2 Valencia Billy Goats
3 Madrid Spartans
4 Bari Barracudas
5 Middlesburg Utopians
6 Ireland Emerald Demons
7 Oxford Eagles

Explain your system to me please.

Blackpool is #2 in the first rankings, and #4 in the bottom ones. Is the +3 pts? or is that rankings moving up? Because if so, that also doesn't make sense.

I'm sure I'm just not seeing it right, but could you help me out?

I think those are old rankings, while the standings are updated.

No, I figured it out. It is the current places in the divisions. Then his rankings.

LOL, didn't even think about that until I looked at the conference and future matchups.

Yep standings upto date before todays matches.
(+/-) is reference to movement up or down in the ratings from last week.

Not quite, this thread has the standings from the week before. But I can understand that you rather not think about that last gameday ;-p

Kidding, I know you have posted the updated rankings, just not in here.
