So guys, i figure i can try my hand at this prediction thing.

After 2 weeks, we really only know two things.

1. The West is still the little sister's of the East

2. Richmond is pretty damn good.

So to No further Ado, lets get this started.

1. Richmond Empire (2-0) vs Alabama Anzacs (0-2)

Alabama looks like its a slow built team. They really have no chance this season or the next 3 in fact. Richmonds starters should be out sipping mai tai's after the first 5 minutes.

Richmond 255 Alabama No Show..... err 0

2. British Columbia Beasters (2-0) vs. Baton Rouge Bayou Bengals (2-0)

Though this is a battle of unbeatens, The Beasters are clearly the more dominate team. The Beasters will tame this kitty, handing the Bengals their first lost of the season. BCB is slowly showing that they belong in Da 7

BCB 60 Baton Roughe 3

3. Texas Presidents (2-0) vs. Detroit Total Chaos (0-2)

The W's looks to be on a strong roll taking one from the Bunghole in the west and putting a NewCleAir whooping on the Pahoa Wild Boars (whats a Pahoa?). Detroit, well I heard they voted against W. Look for a Mission Accomplished sign early in the 1st qtr.

Texas 103 Detroit 0

4. Torrington WildCats (1-1) vs. Pahoa Wild Boars (0-2)

Torrington, a strong contender in the east this year, has started off slow. Losing a tough one to a team in wheelchairs, and rebounding with a nice win over State College. The Boars, well their team just Bores you. Torrington wins in a blow out.

Torrington 100 Pahoa 0

5. *GAME OF THE WEEK* Frostburg Bobcats (1-1) vs. Deimon Devil bats (1-1)

Both teams are clearly in the elite of the east and both coming off strong performances against weaker competition. This is the game with any real meaning as both are jockying to prove that they are elite. The Bobcats and Devil Bats game last Season came down to the last minute and i expect nothing less here.

Frosburg 28 Deimon 25

6. State College Cyclones (1-1) vs. Killians Irish Red (1-1)

State College a newcomer to the league boasts a strong QB and thats about it. The Red, well they did ok last season, and there second stint in Da 7 they look like they're improving. They match up evenly so it should be a tossup.

State College 47 Killians 41

7. Crooklyn Bombers (0-2) vs. Texas Tech Big Red Spread (0-2)

The battle of the winless. This game will be about explosive offense and poor defense. Oh wait this aint the real Texas tech, but the outcome will still be the same.

Texas Tech 35 Crooklyn 21

8. Minnesota Paladins (0-2) vs. Delray Manatees (0-2)

Two teams that were here last season and where the whipping boys of the last great Teams of the East. This game gets to show to the East who has improved and who should be in talks about playoffs next season.

Minnesota 35 Delray 31

Picking Minnesota to end its streak? Bold move, but I doubt it. Delray 45, Minnesota 24. Also, Frostburg will win its game by a couple of touchdowns (agree that it's the game of the week, though). State College and Killian's should be interesting, too--both are contenders for one of the last playoff spots, so this game may actually decide something. My money's on Killian's by about 10 points.

Finally, we're looking to beat Detroit by at least 200 points. Anything less would be a disappointment.

Otherwise your picks seem pretty on-target.

Yep. I'm afraid the Chaos covered the spread (mostly because I was tinkering with our AI, I think, but that's not to take anything away from them. They're a classy team and played a tough game--you know, any given Sunday and all that). Otherwise I was dead on--correctly picking up both games that seirus blew (although I overestimated the Devil bats).

Best game of the season so far, though, will be next week, when the Dubyas take on Frostburg. The winner will pretty much lock up a home playoff game, while the loser will need to pick off Torrington (not a trivial matter) to finish in the top 4.

You've got to be kidding me. Where were you for the Week 1 games? The West will win it all this season.
