I know we have a few folks with scripting/greasemonkey skills. Any possibility of whipping up a way to "mark all as read" or "mark all with 'Compton' in title as read".

I don't mean to be irksome, but a script like that would certainly make the USAPRO forum easier to navigate.

Possibly a script that blocks all threads with Compton or Vikings in the thread title, too.

But there are some good discussions in those threads. Even tho they were started w/ BS posts.

Obviously you don't have to use it then, would be like a second Compton Team Forum.

I was considering modifying the "ignore cobra ki" script yesterday, making it an "ignore compton" script.

I was too lazy to make a list of all of comptons agent names and GMs though.

If someone wants to put together a list of names, it will only take a couple minutes to mod the script, and I'd be happy to do it.

I <3 that GM script. Ever since I started ignoring certain people, the GLB main forum is a LOT easier to read. Funny how most of the complaints and crap come from the same people. lol

Don't put them all on there. I'd rather not ignore jearly (on my team) and RWC (Major GM on one of my players teams).

Not to be an ass... but should a Mod really be running an ignore user script at all?

Contrary to popular belief, Galk is indeed human.

Yeah, but you'd think if a user(s) is(are) annoying enough that the mods need to run scripts to be rid of them that they would show the general population the courtesy of removing said user(s).

But then again, I've always said there isn't NEAR enough bannings on GLB...too worried about the pocketbook I suppose.

Gives you a 'mark all as read' button at the top right hand corner. Get's rid of the annoying new post signs on the compton threads so you can read everything you actually give a shit about, then hit mark all as read

I don't think Galk is saying he would use it but rather making a point that if he were to he would be careful of who he blocks. He is probably just joking anyway.
