Supposedly Dre is from Compton, but he worked with a lot of Long Beach artists like Snoop, Kurupt, Daz, Bad Azz, Warren G, Crooked I, etc.

Also I love that song haha. Eazy and Dre beefed, but I liked both, and it spawned a lot of good music.

For the most part the same with me. Growing up and living in NYC I have always had more of a liking for the east coast stuff though. I don't know a whole lot of underground stuff but one of my favorites is Jedi Mind Tricks.
