So who's gonna get them in USA Pro? My money is on Larry Smith of SBS, Paul Blake of DDL & Ken Cote of the Bullets.

Kentucky figures to keep them in the East in all probability for season 9. Go go gadget gutjob!

I think its going to be way to random to know who will get one.

I have a feeling it's just going to be random even though I think performance should factor in at least a little bit. For example, if you have a back that has 800 yards rushing more then everyone else and 10 TDs more, they should have an increased chance. Maybe not a huge increase, but I would think the players producing the most or producing in big games should have better chances at getting the endorsements, IMHO.

It will be interesting to see the results. I don't think there is a huge difference in fame between the highest fame players, and regular joes who are just there, but don't do much.

Depending on what formula he uses, it may not go to players who are famous. If all 32 QBs for instance have a shot at it, unless he heavily weights the formula for the top 3-5 guys in fame, it is just as likely, or MORE likely to go to one of the guys in the bottom 20 of starters.

It gets even worse when you factor in positions like LB where there are 4 times the number of players per team.

Think of it like this...

LT, McNabb, and Hassleback all have endorsements with Campbell. None have been the best in the league at their positions the last 2 seasons...

I'm sure there are others but that's what came to mind first. I'm just saying that endorsements being random may not be such a bad thing but as you said performance should give you a better shot at them. At the same time, A backup HB with only 100 carries shouldn't be considered either imo...

I'd like to see them go to the best players, but I tend to agree with Mak.

He has to be fairly close to the highest fame. I'm sure there are more, anyone have an example? (I'd actually like to see who has the highest)

As far as I know it's fame for the previous season not cumulative. Is this not correct?

Nice, I was going to look at LJ but then forgot. I'm honestly surprised Larry Smith doesn't have more.
