I just rolled a +1 Snarl SA equipment piece

2 questions:
1) will this piece even work on a CB since i don't innately have the special ability?
2) should i buy it?

fyi, snarl: The player will snarl loudly right before hitting the ball carrier, reducing his morale and making it easier to tackle him. This skill has the effect of reducing an opponent's morale considerably after several snarling tackles. Additional Levels: Increases the chance of the skill working, and increases the penalty to the opponent's morale.

i also bought a piece with 5% bonus to catching, but i'm begining to think it's useless compared wot a % bonus to interceptions

% Interception is a joke too.

I just rolled an Aura of Intimidation piece, but I don't think I'm going to buy it. Along with it I rolled a +1 spd, Wrap-up Tackle. Right now I have a piece upgraded twice to +2 spd, +1 stam, 6% chance of deflection. Kicker is, the Wrap-up is in the same spot as the deflection piece. Should I get the WUT piece and replace the % deflection piece?

yeah i agree i have a 11% intercept piece and i only had 2 int last year

I would just ignore both those pieces. You could have an argument with the Aura if you were a safety and rolling power tackle... but because you're a CB, I wouldn't bother. Just buy something else.

Id only buy anything with Superior Vision, Shutdown coverage, or change direction.
Nothing else is worth it.

You shouldn't be making that many tackles

I agree, catching % didn't help my CB out at all but the intercept % sure is so far.

you probably have 9 catching too.
