passing has been really hit hard this season with these new changes. Completion %s are WAY down on average around 15-20 in all leagues I'm involved in. The answer isn't clear either since my QBs are already 68 capped in vision 60+ in confidence and strength, and all of our WRs are 60+ in catching and 50+ in vision. Surprisingly there haven't been any complaint threads in the main forums.....I don't know if everyone has caught on just yet but its obvious that passing is going to be a struggle again this season like it was in season 3.
My guys numbers weren't that bad this game. Yet there were a number of times my guy made horrible reads. throwing into triple coverage when i had 2 others open, or throwing to the check down receiver when the main guy was wide open.

I agree the answer isn't clear. I don't think there is one identifiable issue. But it seems to be the CB's & Safeties turn to run wild. Seems like a different position or group gets a bump every year while another gets "nerfed". The Smooth Operator SA is probably causing some problems, improved DB builds as well (higher vision than WR's, more jumping on average & more agility).
Also the VA's complicate things. A lot of receivers pump Speed & Agility. But a lot of defensive backs are pumping Long Reach so they get another shot at the PD. This just means the league averages will come down and teams who lived & died by their passing game will likely struggle a bit.

You're one person. We call guys like you "the exception."

I've noticed it since pre-season but I'm not a whiner really

how is discussing a potential issue considered whining?
Against him: Promotion from Africa A to Africa AA For him: Revamped equipment (AEQ consolidated into one ass-kicking piece), upgraded WR core, heavily upgraded line, several levels higher all put into passing skills.
QB Rating: 130.7 to 64.2 Completion %: 65.6 to 41.5 Y/G: 393.3 to 191 Y/A: 9.3 to 4.7
I understand that with the move up a level there will be some regression. But we're talking Steve Young stats to Jay Fiedler stats. And the team hasn't suffered as much--we're still favored to get a playoff bid.
Something happened. And it sure as hell wasn't him.
I feel ya BaseballGuy, I was in EE Pro last year and am there again this year. We made the playoffs last year and prob will again this year. My stats have gone done as well.
QB Rating: 112.9 to 52.7 Completion %: 71.2 to 47.1 Y/G: 449.9 to 173.3 Y/A: 7.2 to 5.1
My career QB Rating is 99.9 and was over 100 before this season started. I'll give it a couple of more games before I start to get frustrated.

Africa A is the lowest tier, so there are a bunch of gutt jobs, first year teams, and just the worst of the worst you are playing. Stats in the bottom tier mean less than nothing. Your team is finally playing against real competition every week, so you're going to see a huge decrease in stats, as will everyone at every position that moves up from the bottom tier to real competition.
