Anyone know if this works...my DE has 88 speed (63 base) 70 agility (69 base) 54 Vision

With 7 in Shed Block and 7 in Tunnel Vision

Also, i have 3 equipment points to use...push his speed over 90? or Start working on Agility to get it to 80 soon?

Am currently using a +2 Closing Speed SA, should I go look for another piece?

Yea, I know....but it doesn't say "only for CB's" like the Line General does for Centers or Protector does for LOT.

Just not sure how much it works to begin with....

It should "work" but its not very good for a DT/DE.
It doesnt help much with passrushing as 1. you are too close and 2. The QB isnt regarded as a ball-carrier when dropping back to pass.

how do you know that you're too close or that the QB isn't a "ball carrier".

i'm not saying you're wrong, i'd just like to know for sure before i junk a piece that one of my lil' guys has.

*edit* i'm asking support...why not?

Too close is a judgement call.
But ive seen a lot of safety's run after my HB to get right up to near my HB and then slow down, only to speed up once again when they are further. Like a safety on a yo-yo.
I can only guess this is closing speed in action.

Still the radius to me seems a little too far for a passrushing player. And it wont help in the last burst.

i always thought that the yo-yo pursuit was CS also...

if it didn't do the last little burst, i'm OK with that.

yes dude. This is really old news. The fact that people still think that closing speed works on a Q.B. baffles my mind.
if he tucks and runs past the l.o.s. different story.
