They talked about leading the receiver, I actually saw it on some streak patterns, but noticed on the slants they seem to be stopping still....

Is this truly a "fix" ? Or is it just a band-aid?

I noticed way more balls overthrown on the deep routes. I guess I'd rather have them go long than come up short and have the CBs adjust to them. I'm happy anytime an incompletion isn't my fault.

deep routes seem much more accurately thrown... very few came up short like mob already stated. deep slant was good for us as well.

I'll second the thing about led passes on long routes. I was actually overthrown once in our last sim, which never happened before.

However, I still stopped and/or went back for some balls thrown on crossing routes.

Short routes are terrible.

Lol.

The irony is rook85 isn't taking his own advice.

I duno but deep throws have been underthrown for me. I had to stop and wait for the pass to catch up with m more than once.

I noticed many balls where you have massive separation are the ones I am seeing overthrown.

I ran a bunch of routes where I just made a quick cut and ran deep. Was going against much weaker comp, but it seemed to work well as I had one of the corners on me beat by 35 yards on an end result of a 95+ yard TD.

Deflections absolutely went through the roof for my team this morning. Still a lot of stopping and waiting for the ball from my perspective.

all of the stopping and waiting for the ball is a good thing though, if you are noticing it (from a WR standpoint that is). that means you have high enough vision to recognize the bad pass and adjust, the new update Bort implemented.

yeah, deflections up the yin yang, more chances for INTs off deflections, and more errant/overthrown passes.

It happened last season too though. It'd be nice if it was a smooth transition of motion toward the pass.
