Never done these before so, go easy on me. If you don't like em, do some of your own
, but do feel free to comment. Remember though that this is preseason, some are still filling rosters and making last minute changes/additions which could drastically change this list.
Playoff Bound
1. Chicago Huskies - Don't know much about these guys as they were up in A#7, but they appear to have a solid team and should be here until they prove otherwise.
2. Lakeland Storm - This was a toss up between the Renagades and the Storm. Although the Renagades finished higher in the playoffs due to points scored, the Storm did beat the Renagades in their only matchup. bigvanilla has done well to rebrand the team and will be looking to make some things happen.
3. Springville Renagades - This is one good looking team (this might be a tad biased
) that lost a close game to the 4th seed in the playoffs in season 7. Offseason was rough, but managed to make some things happen and fill in some gaping holes. Still some lack of depth, but as we all know levels are not everything.
4. Las Vegas Legends - While I think it is fair to say they have the highest level starters and have won a lot of games, I'm just not sure about these guys as they have failed to make things happen in the big games. We'll see if they can prove the doubters wrong.
5. RAVING MAD DAWGS - Another team that has done fairly well, but seems to lack some depth and might struggle, dependent upon builds, when facing the other top teams.
6. Austin Cyber-Demons - Another A#7 team that I'm unfamiliar with. Seem to have some real depth issues once you get past the starters.
7. South Georgia Falcons - I believe these guys have been slow building. Seem to be organized and have kept their guys together on the team. Look for them to be a future powerhouse.
8. Topeka Gunners - I'm not sure what to think of these guys as their levels are all over the place. They did lose a close one to the Falcons last season and so the Falcons are up one spot.
Will have to scrap it out to make it to the playoffs
9. ULM Warhawks - These guys have some real depth issues, but may be able to sneak there way up to the playoffs...maybe.
10. Burnie Bruisers - Decent team. With the exception of the lvl 46 QB, the team seems to have some consistency. We'll see if they can push into that top 8 later in the season.
11. Mei Fu StormerS - Don't know much here. Possible slow builders. Looks like they dropped all the way from AA. Could turn some heads.
12. MMA Allstars - Yet another good slow build team that seems to have kept most of the team together and should do well in the future.
These guys have got a ways to go
13. Kansas City Predators - Some decent players, but seem to be having some issues with filling all their positions.
14. So.Cal Beach Bums - Levels all over the place, still have CPU players, and just haven't filled the roster. Some decent guys, belonging to the GM & Owner, but not enough to do anything this season.
Maybe some day, but not in the foreseeable future
15. Hiram Rednecks - Slow build team. These guys are a season behind the rest of the slow builders.
16. Strange Brews - Anyone think the TE is out of place here? Nice blocking TE btw. Other then that, this one speaks for itself, first season, maybe slow builds, but not very organized, still lots of CPU.
