B Dizzle’s in da Hizzle, 3rd Edition, 5/12/08
Hello and welcome to the third live edition of “BDizzle’s in da Hizzle” where football reigns supreme. I am your host, BDizzle, and today I have with me Thrashmaster, coach of the Badlands Abomination and owner of several GLB players, many of whom play for the Abomination. Lots of questions so let’s get down to business.
1. So how did your team name, the Badlands Abomination, come about?
A. I consider Badlands to be a darker, more sinister "From parts unknown". It's a place that is shrouded with mystery, where you wouldn't want to break down on the side of the road when passing through. No one knows much about Badlands other than it's a bad place where bad things happen.
An abomination is something that is utterly loathsome and detestable. Only something as vile as an abomination could inhabit Badlands. It's not something you want to mess with. You fear it. You respect it. But at the same time, you hate it.
The Badlands Abomination are exactly that personified.
2. Out of the 13 total players that you own, who would you say is your MVP, most talented, etc.? Anything special about this player?
A. Luther Green is the MVP of my current stable. He plays the most important position on the field - Noseguard. He has the ability to take over a game defensively. He commands double teams on every play. His presence makes the entire D-Line excel for his ability to erase running lanes and camp out in opposing backfields.
3. Seeing as how you are undefeated and the number one ranked team (at the time of interview) within USA BBB #10 West, is there pressure to always win? Does your team feel like there is a target painted on their backs?
A. There is no pressure to win because we expect to win every game. Badlands has what few teams are able to acquire, and that's swagger. We know we are the best team in the league, and the other teams know this as well. So naturally, there will always be that bullseye on our backs. Teams don't look at their schedule and say, "Ho hum, we have Badlands next week". We're the team that other teams circle on their calendars as their must win game of the year. My Men wouldn't have it any other way.
4. Any rivalries in the making? Or any team that you fear could give Badlands a run for their money in the playoffs?
A. I've always felt as though a team has to beat you a few times before you consider them a rival. We've already had our way with a very good Sante Fe team. Which they could very well be the 2nd best team in the league. New Orleans appears to match up with us well on paper, but I don't think they have the attitude to come into The Cage and take us. Northwest and Biloxi are talented as well, but someone will have to score more than 10 points on us before we start getting concerned.
5. How do you feel about breakfast food? Pancakes or French toast? Eggs – fried, scrambled, or poached? Sausage or bacon?
A. No breakfast food for me. I'm a chicken & brown rice, lean beef & potatoes, with lots of green leafy vegetables kind of guy.
6. In your opinion, what player is the MVP for the entire USA BBB #10 league? Can you list just one? If not, narrow it down to three players.
A. I don't know enough about the players on teams other than mine. I couldn't even list just one from my team. I will name two from Badlands though. Offense - OG Greg Hindman. He's the anchor of the best O-Line in the league. Defense - CB Kevin Kelly. He's the Deion Sanders of BBB10 who can and will shutdown any QB/WR tandem the league has to offer.
Thank you Dizz for the interview. I hope everyone has learned a little about what Badlands is all about.
No, thank you, Thrashmaster! Well there you hav it, folks. We have just completed our third live edition of “BDizzle’s in da Hizzle.” This is BDizzle signing off.
Stay sexy, Triple B10.
