I have some good LB recruits and very little D line interest so far. I was wondering how the 3-4 defense works in GLB because I rarely see it when scouting. Anyone have any experience or opinions?

Works great against certain formations. It's not as strong against the run, but if you have the right LBs it could work.

Exactly. Good LB's and an anchor for an NT.

it isnt quite as strong against the run but you can stop the passing plays out out of that. My team can stop the strong I OT play most of the time and can stop strong I cross up. Most 4-3 teams have to choose which to stop

The 3-4 requires more specialized builds and a very knowledgeable DC to pull off. It is viable, but in most cases, it's not only easier to find the personnel for the 4-3, but also more beneficial.
I beleive the 3-4 could be good with fast inside LB's and tackling Outside LB's or vice versa

Yeah...finding an LB who is going to join a team that already has 5-6 LB's is pretty tough...rather than finding someone who will play backup at the DE/DT/NT spots.

If you are going to do it, build the front 7 yourself. You'll thank yourself if you do because the "perfect" builds really aren't easy to sign IF you can find them.

The ILBs need to be either high strength or high agility. If you don't have either, he'll end up on his back after meeting head on with a G.
