Hi

I just created my new WR.
Im curious about builds.

I want him to be speed WR

how can i build him , and how will speed increase (and other atttributes)when i reach first soft cap? is there any gain per lvl?

Im planning to put skill points into speed and train agility. When speed hits first softcap then i put points into agility and train something else. Is that good approach, and what after i reach sof cap.

thanks all for answers
When should i put some points into special abilities?

Build him like your first WR but without the SAs.

You should not have assigned your initial SPs. You should have trained Speed until you had enough SP combined with the current score to reach 48+. That would optimize training gains as well as potentially help you reach the soft cap a bit sooner.

That bieng said, it isn't a deal breaker if you don't want to re-roll. Keep adding points until Speed is 48+. Then you'll likely want to keep going to the next softcap (61). Then consider switching to Agility.

what if i boost 3 lvls with flex to get my speed to 48 right away?

So after i get speed to 48, i keep adding 2 points poer attribute ultil i reach 61 speed, then add points to agi.

what will happen to speed then, increase by lvl? for how much and how long

Speed is a major attribute for WRs and increases .33 for each level gained until level 21 (and .25/level after that). That is why it is important to get to caps quickly. Obviously, it is better for it to increase .33 when a point costs you 2 SPs than to increase .33 when a point only costs you 1 SP. That's the basic idea behind cap-focused building. By getting to caps sooner, you get more per-SP benefit from level ups.

k
thankx ill boost 3 lvl before season starts

i dont think it will be a major setback

so, after i boost and reach CAP, do i keep getting points into SPEED until second cap

or do i star putting into AGI after i reach speed cap.

If im correct by lvl 21 i can get 7 extra points in speed, wich would be 55 speed at lvl 21.

After that i would need 12 points t oger it to second cap.

Or if i read it agian what i said makes no sense

Can you please explain shortly how to build a player with this cap-focus strategy.
(-after i reach cap, do i keep addiong points by 2, or i let attribute to grow by .33 until next cap,
- when to switch to buld another attrribute and so on)
thanks

you'll want to at least get your speed to the second soft cap. there are differing approaches to this. you'll want to take you main attribute at least to the second soft cap, but some agents take their main attributes to the third or higher soft cap. and you can focus on one attribute exclusively for a while, and others build more in balance.

So after i reach 2nd soft cap, do i ever put more points in speed?

or i just let it grow by .25 per lvl.

The only problem I have with the Speed is...it doesn't help you, if you drop the ball.

I would say train on catching if you aren't going to put any points into Catching.

That depends on how high you want speed. Most Speedster WRs go to the third cap eventually. Some even go higher.
