The 9 Enquirer: Rankings Week 3

Its finally here everyone, the rankings of the BBB#9 for the 3rd week!!!!

Now I’m pretty sure everyone will have to agree that there were some BIG games this week, considering how there isn’t any undefeated team in the Western League.

With the half of the season already over (time sure flies don’t it??), teams should start looking into the playoffs, which means more pressure, intensity, and teams fighting for their right to play in the playoffs.

*breathes deeply* Wow, I’m actually excited to see some of the upcoming games and this is just a simulation game .

Alright, alright enough with the commentary, now lets get on with the rankings.

(1)1. Alabama Tidesports Crimson Tide 8-0-0 - Once again, we start with the A.T.C.T., can anyone take them down?? Will be a great match up against the Gangsters if they go both undefeated, although just facing each other will be amazing.

(2)2. Indianapolis Gangsters 8-0-0 - After giving away 2 Touchdowns to the Beer Barons, the Gangsters much like the ATCT have stepped up their game another notch (If that’s even possible), destroying the Mammoths 48-3.

(5)3. Hollywood Stars 7-1-0 - Having the best record in the Western Conference automatically places them at 3rd, pummeling the Sea Team helped some as well .

(10)4. New York Doom 6-1-1 - Winning 4 games in a row and almost shutting down the Beer Barons from scoring (the team that has been known to score, even against the Gangsters and ATCT); the Doom may possibly now have the BEST defense in the league, yes even better than the Gangsters.

(6)5. Montpelier Morticians 7-1-0 - They may have a better record than the Doom but if they were to face the Doom right now, they would probably lose.

(8)6. Austin Vampires 6-2-0 - Ok beating the Outlaws and Thunder and losing against the Warriors only by a field goal they have to be THE best with a 6-2 record. I mean they pretty much had the hardest week and yet they pull a 2-1 ratio.

(9)7. Honolulu Warriors 6-2-0 - Yes they beat the Vampires, but other than that they had a really easy week. Now if they can do what the Vampires did (beat the Outlaws and Thunder), then they’ll be better than the Vampires.

(7)8. South Texas Thunder 6-2-0 - They beat the Outlaws but lost to the Vampires, now let’s see what they can do against the Warriors (I love this 4 team rivalry, in fact, lets call them the Quad).

(3)9. Houston Outlaws 6-2-0 - A member of the Quad, they face Warriors tomorrow. Which could determine if they’re the worst of the Quad or the best; should be an exciting match up as well, considering they could face one another again in the playoffs.

(16)10. Miami Carniceros 5-2-1 - Hopping six places, the Carniceros are definitely the overlooked team in the Eastern conference, be warned, don’t underestimate them.

(4)11. The Elite Sea Team 6-2-0 - After losing to the Bandits and a member of the Quad. The Elite Sea Team, doesn’t look very “elite” right now.

(13)12. Omaha Shockers 5-3-0 - Their last two games for this week will be tough (facing two of the Quads), so if they want to maintain where they are at, they better win their next two games, the Carpetbaggers and BC Lions.

(12)13. Kansas City Wiz 5-3-0 - They were supposed to go 3-0 this week, but losing to the Shockers, they’re rightfully ranked right under them. Nice logo though, if that counts for anything.

(19)14. Chicago Dire Wolves 5-3-0 - We all know the Wolves can beat the bottom 16; but let’s see what they can do against the upper percentile. This week they face the Gangsters, Doom, and Carniceros.

(14)15. Radio City Irrelevants 4-4-0 - If the Irrelevants can go 4-0 this week, they should be clear for a playoff spot. This shouldn’t be hard to do, considering they only face teams in the 20s this week.

(18)16. Riverside Renegades 4-4-0 - The Renegades need to have a BIG week this week; because in their last week, they’ll have to face three of the Quads, ouch.

(21)17. Albany Mammoths 4-4-0 - They’ve been ok so far, but not that we’re through half the season, they’ll have to better than “ok” if they want to make it into the playoffs.

(17)18. El Paso Bandits 4-4-0 - The Bandits need to step up their game if they want to try to make the playoffs in the Western league. I’m almost certain an 8-8 record won’t get you in.

(11)19. St. Louis Beer Barons 3-5-0 - Sadly they had the worst week compared to any other team. Dropping 8 places, the Beer Barons may have to look at the playoffs from the outside.

(20)20. Charlotte Clamjousters 3-5-0 - They’re 10th in their conference right now, but they still have a chance making the playoffs.

(24)21. Scranton Tunas 2-6-0 - Their new owner and his team of GMs have definitely tried their best to get the Tunas winning some games, but will it be enough to get them in the playoffs? If they do make the playoffs, I’m rooting for them all the way to the Championship; gotta love the underdogs or in this case, the undertunas.

(29)22. Cary Carpetbaggers 3-5-0 - They are definitely better than some of the teams in the league, but there are more teams that are better than the Carpetbaggers.

(23)23. Miami Sharks 2-5-1 - Their playoff window became really small this week, unless somehow they get at least 7wins of their 8 games. Try again next year?

(26)24. Palmyra Cougars 2-6-0 - Nice little upset over the Beer Barons and a couple of close games. The Cougars seem to have just found their groove, but it seems to late this season.

(22)25. Tampa Elite 2-6-0 - They have a few easy games this week so they could get bumped back up although not much of a playoff opportunity.

(15)26. New Hampshire Snaggle Wreckers 2-5-1 - Ok, losing five in a row and only scoring 6 points in that run. They really don’t have anything going for them right now.

(25)27. BC Lions 1-7-0 - They lost to the Oakland Terror, enough said.

(30)28. Pittsburgh Irons 1-7-0 - Congratulations in beating the worst team in the league!!! Although, now you don’t have anything to look forward to….

(28)29. Los Angeles Sweetness 1-7-0 - The could possibly get a couple more wins before the season is over, but I’m being VERY optimistic.

(27)30. TEAM Chuck Norris 1-7-0 - They still haven’t faced the Terror or Sweetness and they came out with 1 win that has to put a smile on Chuck Norris’ face.

(32)31. Oakland Terror 1-7-0 - They beat the Lions and their last week is pretty easy, so maybe 3-13??

(31)32. Cleveland Express 0-8-0 - They have a GREAT chance in going 0-16. Not a statistic to be proud of, but at least its something.

Once again I send my gratitude to all the Members of the Committee that have sent in their rankings.

Thank YOU for anyone and everyone who has posted in the previous rankings. To reach 100 posts in one week, that's quite impressive considering there weren't just 2 spammers going at it (although that'll be interesting to see).

Once again post comments/ideas/opinions/etc. any spelling errors or an idea that you would like to see in the next rankings. Remember EVERYTHING will be taken into consideration and will try to keep all viewers happy

Next rankings will be displayed on Monday 19

p.s. If any other potential members would like to join the Committee please post here http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=122092
or send me a pm.

p.p.s. Some of the side comments may not be very long or not very informative, I was trying to get this out before the next game.

p.p.p.s Posted right before 12:00 PM Mountain time, so ha.

(7)8. South Texas Thunder 6-2-0 - They beat the Outlaws but lost to the Vampires, now let’s see what they can do against the Outlaws (I love this 4 team rivalry, in fact, lets call them the Quad).

Want to try this again? Beat the Outlaws but let's see what they can do against the Outlaws?

I'd be reluctant to rank the Outlaws that low...they beat us... Right now the Vampires and the Outlaws make me the most nervous of any teams....although South Texas and the Warriors are very tough also.

Also the Elite team lost to us...and the bandits...are we a member of the quad? I didn't think so based on what you wrote.

thanks for the update MK. I just hope Chicago can pull an upset. I wouldn't mind being apart of one of the biggest upset this season. We'll find out tomorrow.
