Hey all, I wanted to get some input on build strategy. Typically for most positions, it's encouraged to fastcap your major abilities as soon as you can to take advantage of their natural growth above the softcap point. However, for HBs, with all of their major skills divvying up those few points per level, is it still worth doing that? Or would I be better off using my training to push my attributes to the 30s or so and then using my SP?

It depends, what I plan to do with my HB when I have to retire him and recreate him is to slowbuild while in the D-league for a season and then spend all the SP when I'm looking for a team. That will allow me to take advantage of the large gains you get from training early on in a situation where no one really gives a crap whether you win or lose.
If you're on a team now, it would be best to spend SP as soon as you get it to get your attributes up to their softcap (or hard cap... or 3rdcap). If you're in the D-league for a season, feel free to hoard your SP and take advantage of larger training gains early on.
