NFL Fantasy Draft
Hi all.
I want to make a dedicated forum where i will compose a list of GM's, one for every team in the NFL, to participate in a NFL Fantasy Draft. It will include all players that are currently playing in the NFL. It will be a great opportunity for many of you to take your team and choose your own building blocks from which to create your ultimate franchise.
The draft will be handled by myself, but i will be seeking the help of a few others to help things run smoothly. The order will be determined randomly, (i am still wondering how best to do this. If anyone has suggestions, don't hesitate to pm me.) After setting the order, the draft will commence in a snake order, such that if you have the last pick in one round, you have the first pick in the next and so on. This is to ensure all teams have as equal opportunities as possible from which to gather players for their franchise.
After the draft, i want to set up a voting system where GM's can vote on which they think will be the best/worst team etc etc. I am not sure, but i also have plans/dreams of somehow implementing the rosters into a football sim, so that it all means something. I know it won't be easy, (and again, if you have any ideas of hat could be used as the sim, please pm me) but i will give it my best shot.
On that note, maybe we can use rosters from Madden 09 as the basis for players eligible to be chosen in the draft.
So here i will post a list of the NFL Teams and people that want to take control of a team and participate in the fantasy draft on the behalf of that team. I will be taking the Carolina Panthers through the draft, instead of my usual Bears.
As for the time of the draft, that is something that will have to be sorted out. But i want it on Saturday night, in a week or 2's time.
