Considering the amount of passes that my Qb throws over 30 yards are minimal I don't think it's worth it. Most of the long passes on my team are 20-25 yards. i guess it really depends on what type of offense you're running but it just seems like a luxury VA to me.
Ok. So lets review the reason you want to use this.
a. Your team sucks and your losing b. Your probably going ot lose anyway c. Your QB has to be throwing a pass long than 30 yards d. There is a % chance of this working.
30 yard pass is the killer. my feeling is that in the situations where this would be effective your qb is facing a stout pass d anyway and most likely wont have the time to toss it 30+ yards. clock manager might be a better one but still situational.
