Look guys...
I planned on retiring Nibiru but I had left the door open that if you were unable to find a WR to replace him that I may reconsider. I was thanked for the early heads up and figured with all the teams folding, finding another capable receiver would be a walk in the park. I sent a similar message to the guys over at Duluth as I had pondered retiring my MLB and DE (The MLB ended up re-signing w/ Duluth and I retired the DE)
The last thing I'd want for Brev is an offense that it undermanned at the WR spot, trust me on this. The more weapons the better. My QB was fully committed to end his carrer with LSP and I never gave you any indication contrary to this.
You messaged me and instead of asking me what my plans were for the QB, you made an assumption that Brev would retire next or something. He is one of my favorite players and I had planned on keeping him in the league until he could no longer get the job done. But I was notified that you would be releasing Brev, completely out of the blue and to my total surprise.
It wasn't a dick move on my part and there was no ill intent. When you basically cut ties with Brev, the dynamics of the situation changed unexpectedly.
All I asked in return was to release me asap so I could find another team.
I've been attempting to scale down the amount of players I have because I'm tired of paying $100 every 40 days. Players that were not playing up to my expectations will always be in danger of getting the axe because I'll be damned if I'm goign to pay cash for dots that I don't like!

But lets be real, I wasnt planning on retiring Nibiru to some how sever my ties with LSP or screw you guys over behind your back. That is why I gave you ample notice in advance about my plans to retire him. He's just a 900 flex a season player that wasn't playing up to the level I wanted or expected so I had made a decision to let him go.
Either way, you made assumptions that were incorrect about my QB. I did nothing wrong and I don't appreciate being publically "attacked" with insinuations of malicious intent when anything could be further from the truth.
After being cut, and having 4 players now without a team, I re-assessed my personnnel and chose a different player to retire.
It really is that simple and I wish LSP luck.
If anyone got dicked in this, it was me. My QB is now in a free agent pool behind 25 other QB's of equal or higher level and getting offers from BBB teams that have 3 players on the entire roster and 13 chemistry.
What could have and should have been the best years of my QB's great career may now turn into (Atleast for Season 8) stat padding in lower level divisions, void of any meaningful tournament action. And a championship won down there doesn't mean squat in the grand scheme of things.
