I had planned on retiring Nibiru and keeping Brev going with LSP.

But then you sent me a PM saying you were planning on releasing Brev and bring in your own QB.

I had 4 players without teams and I started getting PM's. I liked the idea of pairing Sumerian and Nibiru up again, just like back in Krakatoa so I signed with Bandar.

There were no tricks being played, just the way things happened to work out.

I retired some other guys this off season instead.

Tiger was under the impression since you were retiring Nibiru that Brevin would be soon to follow. He didnt want to be scrambling for a topflight Pro-level QB between seasons 8 and 9 if/when you retired Lokai (he assumed Lokai would soon follow Nibiru into retirement) so he brought over his QB when he had the chance (now) so he wouldnt have to look everywhere and come up empty handed if Lokai retired.

Just to let you know the situation..sucks cuz I liked havin ya on LSP and thought you were a great addition and we even discussed possibility of u bringin more guys over how the times change I guess..hopefully we can get some of ur guys down the road

best of luck

He assumed wrong. I was retiring Nibiru because he didn't show himself to be a game breaker the last couple of seasons and I already had 1 high level WR ripping it up "Sumerian" so I had decided to retire him.

If I had planned on retiring Brev I would have given adequate warning, like I did when I had made that intitial decision about Nibiru! I was looking forward to continuing kicking ass in SEA Pro Garuda, now I'm 15 deep on the Marketplace list trying to find a freaking BBB team to sign with before the season starts... lol

I'd love to find a team in Garuda to play for so I could stick it to LSP tho!!!

Brevin Lokai was wronged in the eyes of YWEH and someone must pay with blood.

You are a good agent who always listened to my build and tactics advice and I appreciated it. Anyone who signs Brevin will have a great QB.

Having said that it doesn't change the fact that you said you were retiring your WR. So I decided to take you at your word, be a nice/fair owner and release you. I realize this is just a game and you spend real money like everyone else. So why be a dick and say no? This game is supposed to be fun. Then you turn around and sign him to another SEA Pro team. I'm not supposed be pissed? You were an owner, how would you like being lied to? It was a dick move. If I didn't think Nibiru made us a better team I wouldn't give a shit. Fact is we are not as good without him.

Again good agent with a very good QB. Anyone who brings Sulf on there team will be better for it. He knows his shit.

Good Luck with your new team.

Look guys...

I planned on retiring Nibiru but I had left the door open that if you were unable to find a WR to replace him that I may reconsider. I was thanked for the early heads up and figured with all the teams folding, finding another capable receiver would be a walk in the park. I sent a similar message to the guys over at Duluth as I had pondered retiring my MLB and DE (The MLB ended up re-signing w/ Duluth and I retired the DE)

The last thing I'd want for Brev is an offense that it undermanned at the WR spot, trust me on this. The more weapons the better. My QB was fully committed to end his carrer with LSP and I never gave you any indication contrary to this.

You messaged me and instead of asking me what my plans were for the QB, you made an assumption that Brev would retire next or something. He is one of my favorite players and I had planned on keeping him in the league until he could no longer get the job done. But I was notified that you would be releasing Brev, completely out of the blue and to my total surprise.

It wasn't a dick move on my part and there was no ill intent. When you basically cut ties with Brev, the dynamics of the situation changed unexpectedly.

All I asked in return was to release me asap so I could find another team.

I've been attempting to scale down the amount of players I have because I'm tired of paying $100 every 40 days. Players that were not playing up to my expectations will always be in danger of getting the axe because I'll be damned if I'm goign to pay cash for dots that I don't like!

But lets be real, I wasnt planning on retiring Nibiru to some how sever my ties with LSP or screw you guys over behind your back. That is why I gave you ample notice in advance about my plans to retire him. He's just a 900 flex a season player that wasn't playing up to the level I wanted or expected so I had made a decision to let him go.

Either way, you made assumptions that were incorrect about my QB. I did nothing wrong and I don't appreciate being publically "attacked" with insinuations of malicious intent when anything could be further from the truth.

After being cut, and having 4 players now without a team, I re-assessed my personnnel and chose a different player to retire.

It really is that simple and I wish LSP luck.

If anyone got dicked in this, it was me. My QB is now in a free agent pool behind 25 other QB's of equal or higher level and getting offers from BBB teams that have 3 players on the entire roster and 13 chemistry.

What could have and should have been the best years of my QB's great career may now turn into (Atleast for Season 8) stat padding in lower level divisions, void of any meaningful tournament action. And a championship won down there doesn't mean squat in the grand scheme of things.

<shrug>
