I tweaked the Fum vs the FumL ratio a bit. Otherwise everything else is the same. This is still a work in progress. If you look a the sharp shooters stats they are a solid middle of the pack team. They just dont have the wins to back it up. So far everything is based on stats. I might throw in a W modifier, but then you would need to modify that with a strength variable as some wins are easier than others.

Honolulu Bulls 6.22

Houston Toros 6.66

Philadelphia Fighters 11.80

Denver Outlaws 8.15

West Charleville Sharpshooters 10.03

Houston Longhorns 14.70

Los Angeles Arsenal 7.13

USB Rough Riders 12.22

Death Valley Assassins 9.09

FantasyFanbase All-Stars 10.07

Farkistan Demons 18.73

Compton Vikings 8.35

Phoenix Wolverines 15.73

Waterloo Pirates 10.37

Bayou Bengals 12.06

Blitzburg Musclefrogs 11.25

Hmmmmm, looks better, but I think the teams faced tells a lot about the production of your team.

Anyway, another interesting thing would be about players productions, for each position or for offense and defense. There are rankings about it, but they are not the best afterall. For example, the rating of a player for 'tackles' should include the number of missed tackles and etc. Just an idea I had.

Intresting work. What what is your range and min max numbers for the team ratings?
For instance is 0 the goal and what would it take to get your football team rated there?

The Frogs are weak on the run. They only have 113 yards a game a total of 3 Rushing TD's for the season. They are also near the bottom of the pack in Run D. Allowing 10 rushing TD's and 157 yards a game.

They also only averaged 4 Passing TDs with 3.4 yards per completion while giving up 9 and 173 yards a game.

I think if you take a closer look at the stats you would agree with the ranking.

Begals are very similar just a few minor differences here an there.

Your confusing the sharpshooter's that started the season with one live person and the team that they have now. These rankings are comprised of the season as a whole up to now.

They have almost identical passing yards as your team, their yards per completion are actually higher than yours, their yard a game are higher than yours, they only have 2 less TD's. Their weakness is in stopping the pass and a low completion % which probably has to do with the 21 hurries. For a team with a lot of CPU's they have very decent passing stats.

The rushing game is where they really have problems and it shows. The final score is a blend of the passing stats and the rushing stats on both sides of the ball.

No its a blend of a lot of stats really. The spread sheet is huge and lots of interlaced formulas. There is no perfect score. Just the lower the better. This is a stat based power rating and is not based on wins at this point. That would involve a lot more work that im not sure i want to do I'm working on getting stickmans spreadsheet so that might be included on his. This is just a stopgap until he releases it.

We were having fun with the tactics that game. They barely tied us with that long TD in the closing minutes. We overestimated ourselves and payed the price
