Washington Slashers 9-7 (1-1 1105) USA AAA#2

USA AAA#1 will promote 4 teams (2 via guarenteed conference champs and 2 via CPU relegation)

*Conference Champs
**Promotion by CPU relegation
Italics - Probable based on team sales/disbanding.

Promotion and Relegation

Two teams are always promoted from every league each season (except Pro): the champions of each conference (as determined during the playoffs). These teams move up to the next tier on the pyramid.

More teams will be promoted if teams in higher leagues were sent to the bottom due to being sold or too low level to compete in the higher league.
Four teams are always relegated from every league each season: the bottom two teams of each conference (based on regular reason win/loss record). These teams move down to the next tier on the pyramid.

Teams that are sold or are too low level to compete in the league will be sent down to the lowest league in the region.
There is no relegation for leagues that are already at the bottom, like USA BBB.
Normal promotion/relegation will be processed first, then sold/non-competitive teams will be dropped to the lowest league.
Rules for promotions to fill the spots of sold teams

After last season's promotion scheme didn't get us what we were looking for in some cases, we've updated the promotion sort order as for who to choose for promotion to fill vacated CPU team slots to make regular season victories more important.

Number of playoff victories
Number of playoff games participated in (this covers the first round losers over the non playoff teams)
Regular season wins
Regular season ties
Regular season points scored
Regular season points against (lower is better)
Postseason scrimmage wins (not friendlies)
Postseason scrimmage ties (not friendlies)
Avg playoff game points differential
Avg postseason scrimmage points differential
Avg playoff points scored
Avg postseason scrimmage points scored
Avg playoff points allowed (lower is better)
Avg postseason scrimmages points allowed (lower is better)
Random selection.
Note that no teams are promoted in the Pro leagues as they are the top tier of the pyramid.

Info gathered from: http://www.glbwiki.com/index.php?title=Promotion_and_Relegation

Ok I have bolded the ones I have tabulated for. Until I see the others go CPU they technically don't offer a chance for teams to move up. The ones for sale that have not yet gone CPU could stay in Pro (changed my mind on this after loking at there rosters. They most likely will be relegated as there is no roster of players to support a team and building a team that quickly for next season seems improbable).

East:
Doomsday Sin (CPU)
Arizona Termites (CPU)
Philadelphia Pushovers (relegated)
Orlando Pirates (disbanding)
Kentucky Madcats (owner went inactive, team's contracts ran out...apparently they'll automatically move down)
Gridiron Rage - owner said he's probably selling

West:
Dallas Orangebloods (CPU)
Anchorage Penguins (relegated)
Kaneohe Daggers (relegated)
Oklahoma City Thunderstorm (disbanding)
SF Fire (see: Kentucky Madcats)

Yes!! Aslong as 4 of these teams go CPU before the realignment you are in! Their rosters are gutted so they should go down to be fair but its all a matter of timing.

Orlando Pirates
Kentucky Madcats
Gridiron Rage
Oklahoma City Thunderstorm
SF Fire

OCT and Orlando said they are for sure going down. SF and Kentucky should be imo.

There are only 5 and a half hours before the promotions/relegations go through. I hope they sell in time...for the sake of the Wolfpack, and competitiveness in this league. Having CPU/gutted teams kind of ruins it imo.

damn... I thought we were a lock to move up... Turns out, we still need some things to happen at this point.

How much does that hurt, considering we lost a game where we went for it on 4th down from the opponents 10 in a tie game, with 1 minute on the clock? We would've easily won the points scored tiebreaker over Carolina and the Hedgehogs for the move up..... now i have to hope and pray.

You're sitting strong if the two that Galkuris says are going down do indeed go down.

Of all leagues, USA Pro shouldn't have to deal with having gutted teams at the beginning of the season.

So if these teams with NOBODY on the roster aren't "sold" by tonight then they will stay in Pro for next season as CPU?

That's pretty bogus.

yup! Sucks.... The sim just looks for CPU as owner not if the roster is gutted. (Atleast thats how I understand it)

So how about all of the teams like Orlando who aren't "selling" but have emptied their rosters so that they can slow build?

Is Bort going to make them slow build in the Pros? Orlando isn't going to go CPU by tonight because they're keeping the team. They're just going to create all new players on Season 8 Day -4. This means that they're going to have to play in Pro?

Ghey

I'm pretty sure UMBF has asked for them to be demoted to BBB. I'm on the Jersey Generals from AAA and that's what happened in S6.

Not sure about San Francisco though. Obviously the owner hasn't asked for a demotion since he hasn't been online in over a week. I know there was talk about demoting teams determined to be "non-competitive", but I'm not sure it's ever happened. Guess we'll see in about 6 hours.

If a team in Pro is going to slow build they better hope they are getting moved down because they wont be able to sign level 1 players to a team in Pro.
