How high do you need vision for speed rushers with a level in the mid 30s?

Based on these two responses you can see 2 theories. One is that Vision has help in the area of Shed Block because the DE can spot plays faster, but another is that while you don't want to neglect it, but don't have to put too much emphasis on it.

I've seem enough built to be convinced (as of today) that the latest Bort nerf requires high Vision to succeed. I would cap.

I would have to say your claim that capped vision is "high" is naive.

i feel that higher vision would help a DE/DT read the snap better.

Unlike some D for Dick people in here, I think this VA kind of gave away Bort's algorithm for DL (if only they would wake up from fantasy land and use their brains.) Higher Vision is required to get a good pass read and have a solid jump off the line, to shed the block, and reach the QB.

Cap Vision and use Jump the Snap VA and watch your DE dominate (assuming your other attributes and SAs are there)

I was under the impression he gave it away when he talked about vision checks way back at the start of last season.

seriously, would you guys stop trying to shatter BB's illusion that he is the only one who knows how to build a DE? you're hurting his feelings.

you're being "D for Dicks".

BB needs to trademark the inevitable silence he emits.

There is a vision check before the snap to basically know how fast the D-Lineman get's off the snap... The new VA basically tells us that so I would work on at least capping it... Dont know how much better it would work if it were higher...
