After much thought, I have decided that I would like to keep my kicker, Ahron Linkler, in SEA Pro if at all possible. There are a few teams I have been in contact with that are on the short list, but if you would like to be added to that shortlist, make your case here.
I would like to have forum access to any interested teams so that I can get a better feel for the team before I commit.

To be honest, as a player that I started mid-season 1 when I didn't fully understand the player development ins and outs, he doesn't have the highest possible kicking stat (112 after VET abilities and equipment), But what he doesn't have in raw stats he makes up for in pedigree. As LSP will tell you, he doesn't choke in close games. EVER. I have made that a priority since day one by investing in confidence, calm nerves, and the clutch VET ability. And it has worked.
The second thing I have focussed on is accuracy for long kicks, and I believe I have that licked. Back in season 3, before kickers got nerfed, he went 50/53 back in SEA AAA, and 9/10 from 50+ yards (including one 64.5 yarder). After the nerf, it took him a while to get back into the long kicking game, but this season he went 10/16 (3/3 in the playoffs), which is second only to Alex Wolfendisco (a very respectable 9/10) from 50+ yards.
The pitch is this: have Linkler on your team, and never lose another game due to a missed kick inside 50 yards. And win a couple that you would have lost with kicks outside 50 yards.
Since season 4, there has been one game that he could have won, had he not missed any of his FG opportunities:

And one game that he could have tied had he sunk all his FGs:

And two games where sinking all the blasted PATs would have given us a fighting chance. But no kicker seems to be able to sink all of their PATs. I actually see this more as the game's fault than Linkler's, but I admit I'm biased

He has literally sunk the winning FG in at least 15 games in those four seasons.
I will be evaluating where I'd like to go based on:
1. Team dynamic and unity - are people mature and courteous with a light-hearted humorous but dedicated attitude? (hence the request for forum access)
2. Existing kicker - I don't want to be responsible for displacing any existing kickers that want to continue playing on your team. Therefore, I will require a PM from the existing kicker explaining why they aren't continuing.
3. Team Pedigree - obviously a team with a proven track record of winning or at least trying to win will get a leg up. But if you can show that you have made great strides and a top tier kicker would finally put you in the hunt, I'm not above helping out some teams who haven't even made the playoffs, just make your case.
4. Owner and GM character - I have really enjoyed GLB, mostly with Linkler on the TBP squad because of one thing: JT. He is amazing, and while them are tall shoes to fill, I'd like an owner who puts real life first, enjoys the game, is not rude, and treats all agents and GMs with respect.
Notice what's not on the list? Money. I trust that any owner fulfilling the above criteria would give Linkler enough money for equipment when the need arises if at all possible, so I really don't care what his salary or bonus are, as long as they are enough to keep training. So please don't try to win him by offering an outrageous contract, that just shows a lack of prudent leadership, not a genuine desire for getting Linkler on your team.
