(Regular Season Matchup results)

East

#8 Sin City Assassins at #1 Sleepy Hollow Horsemen (99-7, Horsemen)
The Horsemen feature the top overall offense and the top rushing offense in BBB 11. They are no slouches in the other areas of the game as they have the no. 4 overall defense and no. 3 or so special teams unit.

Sin City is middle of the pack in both offense and defense but also feature a strong rushing attack. The Horsemen handled them easily back in week 9, but weirder things have happened in the playoffs as Sin City has added some talent to their squad since then.

#7 Indianapolis Thunderhawks at #2 Iowa Hogeyes (111-38, Hogeyes)
Power running game vs. an aerial assault offense. The home team Hogeyes feature the 2nd overall offense in BBB 11 and the 2nd rushing offense. Their defense is 5th overall, and have the 3rd best rushing D. Their special teams unit is very talented and they feature a great kickoff returner.

Indianapolis is the mirror opposite on offense, featuring the no. 15 total offense, but the 3rd ranked pass offense. Their defense is middle of the pack as is their special teams. They do have a top notch FG kicker. The week 5 meeting went to the Hogeyes in a blowout.

#6 Columbus Bulldawgs at #3 Louisiana State Tighas (66-19, Tighas)
A second Eastern game featuring a running offense vs. a passing offense. The Tighas feature the 7th ranked total offense and the 1st ranked passing O in BBB 11. Their D has been lights out ranking 3rd in total defense, 2nd in passing D, 1st in rushing D. Their special teams is around 7th in the league.

Columbus is very balanced on offense, but leads with the rushing game. They have the 8th overall offense, 11th pass offense and 5th ranked rush offense. Their overall defense is pretty good as they are stout against the run but rank near the bottom of the league in pass D. They feature a great kick returner and have decent overall special teams units. The week 10 meeting went to the Tighas, but Columbus has made a lot of roster changes since that game.

#5 Myrtle Beach Carnage at #4 South Bend Leprechauns (51-35, Leprechauns)
South Bend is a very talented team, fielding the 6th overall offense (balanced at 9th in passing, 9th in rushing) and the 9th overall defense (11th passing, 10th rushing.) Their special teams play has been phenomenal as they have a great kicker, punter, and very good returners.

Myrtle Beach features another good offense, ranked 10th in BBB 11. They have the 4th ranked rush offense and the 16th ranked pass O. Their Rush D is very good (7th) and they also feature a very talented Punt returner. South Bend has rattled off 9 W’s since their last defeat and Myrtle Beach only dropped 2 since the teams last meeting in Week 10, won by South Bend.

West

#8 Chicago Blitz at #1 Idaho Rex (86-23, Rex)
The Rex come into the game hot on a 10 game win streak. They feature the no. 3 overall offense and the no. 6 overall defense. Their FG unit hasn’t seen much time this year, but they have a good punting unit and rank 1st in both kick return yardage and punt return yardage.

The Blitz travel to Idaho featuring a balanced attack on offense, ranked 14th in the league. Their D is also ranked 13th but they are stout vs. the pass, ranking 6th in BBB 11. This is a rematch of the Week 4 game, won by Idaho.

#7 Brooklyn Beastmen at #2 Steel City Sentinels (20-16, Sentinels)
The home team Sentinels feature the 4th ranked offense (4th pass, 13th rush) and the no. 2 overall defense (3rd passing, 8th rushing.) Like the Leprechauns in the East, they feature the 4th best KR unit, and the 5th best punt return unit.

The Beastmen focused on the run game in the regular season, finishing with the 12th overall offense and the 7th ranked rush O, but ranked near the bottom of BBB11 in Passing offense. Their defense has played very good, finishing 8th in overall defense, but 1st overall in pass D. They have a very talented punt returner and one of the 3 best punters in the league. This is a rematch of the classic week 12 match, won by Steel City in a close game. That loss sent the Beastmen in a bit of a tailspin, dropping 3 of their last 4 games so they should be out for revenge.

#6 Colorado Ice at #3 Detroit Revolvers (53-13, Revolvers)
Detroit features an extremely talented team. They feature the no. 5 overall offense (6th in passing) and the top D in USA BBB 11 this season (4th pass, 2nd rush.) They have a decent ST unit, and a great kicker. They have been adding pieces throughout the double and triple chemistry hit period, and that may come back to bite them at some point. They are on a 7 game W streak after that last second setback to no. 1 Idaho.

Colorado goes to Detroit with one of the top rushing attacks in BBB 11th, ranked 8th. Their defense is 14th overall, with their 26th ranked passing D, and their 15th ranked rush D. They have one of the top punters in the league and a good punt returner. Detroit took the matchup in week 11, but Colorado went on to win 4 of their last 5 and are hot.

#5 Philadelphia Birds at #4 Austin Packers (37-20, Packers)
Austin is an extremely balanced squad, ranking 16th in overall offense (12 pass, 16 rush) and 10th overall defense (9th pass D, 11th rush D). They have the top punting unit in USA BBB 11 and a decent overall ST unit.

Philadelphia is on an 8 game win streak since their last setback, to Austin, back in Week 8. They feature the 11th ranked offense and 6th ranked rush O, but only 26th in passing. Their D has been lights out, ranking 8th overall (16th pass, 6th rush). They have a solid special teams unit highlighted by the top PR in the league.

Would have liked to spend some more time on this, but I gotta get my own team ready for the Bulldawgs.

Best of luck to everyone.
