Matchups
GB v Pirates - Projected GB
***O*** v Bullets - Projected ***O***
Shockers v Madcats - Projected Shockers
DDL v Elvis - See below
Coyotes v Rage - See below
Gamblers v Pushovers - See below

I don't see a lot changing at the top three. ***O*** can lose and still finish second so Cincy is locked into #3. GB looks unlikely to lose but if they did and ***O*** won then GB would drop to 2.

The next matchup is a big one to determine rankings. DDL could move up to 4 with a victory and a Bullets loss. They would stay in place if they win and Bullets win, or they would drop to 6 with a loss.

Elvis moves to 5 with a win, they hold all tiebreakers over teams they could finish at 10-6 with.

Coyotes can move ahead of Elvis into 6 if they win and Elvis losses. If both win, Elvis gets 5, DDL 6 and Coyotes 7.

If Rage win there are a few scenarios. Rage, Coyotes and Gamblers would all be 9-7. If Elvis wins they are out of that tiebreaker. Rage would hold the tiebreaker and jump to 7. Coyotes are 8th and Gamblers are out.

If Elvis loses, they are lumped into that tiebreaker. Rage would have beaten all of those teams and will jump to 6. Elvis has the next tiebreaker having beaten the other two and ends up 7th. Coyotes beat Gamblers and would finish 8th.

Gamblers are out on tiebreakers no matter what happens.

Actually due to tie breakers, if GB some how manages to lose this one, they would drop all the way to 3 with OFG going in the 1 seed (due to record) and Cincy holding the tie breaker over them with matched records.

Dont lose PP

If the GB and we lose, the Pirates would overtake us for 8th, I think.

Don't lose!

I don't think so...since we beat Orlando heads up we hold the tiebreaker over them right?

Tiebreaker shmiebreaker. I don't think heads-up has any bearing on breaking ties. It should, but I think it's points scored, points against, etc.

So in other words, he who blows out the most teams, wins.

So CPU teams have a usefulness after all.

I thought Bort changed it after S1 to h2h, then points.

Bort changed something in the game? When did this happen?

Head to head is the first tiebreaker if only two teams are tied. If 3+ are tied I "think" it goes to whoever has the best win-loss record between the teams.

H2H is an illogical tiebreaking procedure.

Ok, but just remember.... when you're riding in a time machine way far into the future, don't stick your
elbow out the window, or it'll turn into a fossil.

This has been Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey.
