I've liked at many guides and most of them have said blocking helps shed blocks. Has anyone tried bringing blocking to maybe the cap for d-line?If not I plan to try doing it by building my DE like an OT. Anybody got any ideas?

Many people have tried high blocking and concluded that it has done nothing.

Then again... most of those people tried pretty much pure high blocking with an otherwise mediocre build. They just piled points into blocking expecting it to be some magic attribute that would make them crazy good. And when they found out that's not how it works, they just said it's useless.

I haven't seen anyone with what I would call a legitimately good build, with high blocking as well.

Part of the reason for it being a mediocre build is all those points dedicated to blocking

Many lazy people in here likes to "signal" garbage. But the truth is high blocking helps when you have a solid build. I've seem decent DEs shed blocks and what they have in common is that they have at least 2nd cap in blocking.

Some people "tried" high blocking early, i.e. their build isn't ready and they pour in on them, and sees nothing and declare that it's a "myth", ok...

60 points in blocking?!?!

I have a hard time believing that is a wise investment.

just train it with strength for a while, that way if you decide it is not worth it, at least it was not a total waste. I have heard a lot of people say that 30 is a good number for it.

Blocking is something you do after you have 70-80 spd/agi, 50-60 in strength, 30-40 Vision/Stamina, at least 30 in Confidence and at least 40 in tackles.

Like I said, I've seem good DEs that has high blocking when their other attributes are set. But I've also seem horrible DEs with nothing but high blocking and they're asking for trouble.

Bort has confirmed that Blocking is part of the break block formula. Unfortunately this information is very vague, and hidden on obscure threads. We all should demand that Bort does a better job informing his paying customers on game mechanics.

Yea cookie cutter builds aren't bad enough? Have Bort give out all the secrets to the game, so everyone is good. That makes perfect sense.
