So it was a week of HUGE games and it didnt disapoint. After the clash of the top 4 there are braggin rights to go around and some revenge bein plotted for playoff time.
1. Teikoku - Dont doubt Whitesquall. I live by those words. The Alexanders are awesome and the beat a real tough Atlanta side to stay undefeated. Win the next game and home field advantage is theirs.
2. Bronx - Talent = Bronx Black Flags. The grinded out a win vs Port Moody and look every bit an elite team. As long as they handle Victoria the #2 spot is their, with an outside shot at #1 should the Alexanders somehow lose their last 2 games.
3. Port Moody - Still a beast no doubt but they have to be a little disapointed to lose to Bronx 2 years in a row. Still an elite team and very much a threat to win it all.
4. Atlanta - Lost a tough one to the best team in the conference. Still ranked here because they only have 2 cupcakes left so they wont move down, and with their loss to the Pain earlier in the season cant move up.
5. Victoria - Dropped the hammer on a playoff team and have a hope and a prayer at a home playoff game if they can pull off a miracle and beat Bronx and Teikoku back to back. Either way the win over the Brawlers puts a smile on the face of all Teabaggers and gets us ready for the playoffs.
6. Emmaus - Not goin up, not goin down.
7. Thundertown - See record.
8. Yancy - Beat a reeling Niagra squad to clinch the 8 spot and somehow sneek into the playoffs. Congratulations on takin a team in your first season to the post season.
It was a great week of Ocho Eastern Conference football and the playoff picture is still pretty muddled when it comes to seeding, but it should be sorted out by this time saturday night.
