rolled a +1 AEQ for each, which would you go with?

Yes, I know there are better out there, but I've yet to get that lucky.

If your agility is your highest attribute and you don't plan on taking FS up more than HF, than HF. Otherwise FS.

i'll play contrarian. First step allows you to use your speed very quickly, but most good CBs will match you in that area. Its easy to blow by a poorlyn built CB, but it just doesn't work against high level guys. Head fake attaches vision and superior vision. Most CBs pay less attention to those atttributes than speed/agility.

Just my opinion and your mileage may vary.

i've been wearing a +3 HF for all season now (giving me 6) and it doesn't seem to be giving me much. I rolled a + 1 FS, hence why I ask.

I'd love to roll something better, but it just ain't happening so far.

Thats not correct. No CBs speed/agi can match an equally quick WR with FS. Most CBs pay less attention to FS than they do to vision/SuperVision.

And you also are misled in thinking that CBs dont pay attention to vision/SV as much a sspeed/agi...Its more the opposite actually.

FirstStep can hurt any CB because EVEN IF they have it, the chance theirs goes off the same time as the WR is very low.

look for QC

FS and QC are all that matter. Juke/Spin/HF are all trash and should never be invested in.

You can see Spin on the PbP, and it doesn't register that often with a few high agility + Spin SA backs that I've seen. They have more chances to pull it off than a WR does (more touches). I wouldn't put spin on my WR.

With juke, I think the player needs to be between you and the endzone. On my catches, that's usually not the case. I don't plan on getting it too high.

Head fake is interesting because of it triggering during the route. Combined with the creative route running, it may be even more useful. I don't know though.

Maybe 70 natural with 10-20 equipment in agility. The point is, with Juke, Spin, HF people expect them to trigger all the time. Look at 1 handed catch, how many times can you expect that to trigger in a game? Not many. So are people saying there garbage because they don't see them work or because they don't work often enough or they don't have enough attributes to make them work effectively. At some point, you aren't going to see much return adding 5 skill points for 1 agility or such, at that point it is probably smarter to invest in those 3 SAs, you might not notice a return on the, but you aren't going to notice a return on 1 agility either.

Jdupuy, Juke does work on the route as well as HF. Second post in this thread by Bort:
