LOL

You kidding? 60 str, 80 blk, 40 spd, 40 agi would eat up that 90-DE guy...

I did pull a sack today with my DE, helped that a CB and the ROLB both blitzed that play as well. So send numbers.

...I also had 15 levels on the OT.

Play gutted teams like my DE did today. I'm now 3rd in CPL in sacks despite a garbage year.

i almost subscribed to the "DE's are fixed" theory today when my DE got four sacks and his partner on the other side got 3 and this was against a team that's every bit as good as our own:

then i noticed that ALL 7 sacks...on BOTH sides were against the same lousy OT... i feel bad for that owner having to use that stiff as much as he does.

I've had a decent year. I've played around with speedand agility combos. So far it looks like if they are even or speed in greater by about 10 I have success. Not great numbers but I might get 25 by end of the season.

ive also had a decent year
only shut out once

i think the best bet is to completely blow past the OT before he can block you since block shedding is impossible
95+ speed, HIGH FS, high TV (which is a given). i have pretty low agility for a pass rushing DE my level yet i still have some success

Agreed, my DE is very balanced, Str,Speed,Agil, and Vision are all within 12 points of each other with The top being Agility in the 80's, Str/Speed in the 70's and Vision in the high 60's.

My current stance is there was a tweak to the OT's stats as well as an increase to the blocking radius. So no matter what the DE does as long as they are in the blocking radius the OT algorithm keeps him engaged.

Case in point: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=333677&pbp_id=11691103

I need to find other instances like this but it looks like the OT and HB clue in on the CB streaking in and lets the DE go after he got pushed to the outside. Need way more evidence of this type of play though, right now its just conjecture.

So if anyone is playing cupcakes in the final games, please set a CB to blitz all the time and see if it can be reproduced in any regularity.

i found out that i its much easier to break a block if you go underneath
i only have 48 str yet i was able to shred this block underneath as just one example

Yep, there has been quite a few plays that show DE's sneaking in the hole right after a HB or FB go out on a pass route.

According to some people here they will "signal" and "puppy" to you that Shed Block is impossible unless you're going up against an OT 10 lvls lower than you.

But I could of swear your DE at lvl 33 is going against an OT at lvl 32... but we have been preached for the past week that this is impossible.

I've said this before, believe it at your own discretion.

1) Speed and Agility will get diminishing returns after 75+. The days of 90+ spd/agi = sack monster are over.
2) Strength needs to be at least 3rd cap AND
3) Speed, Vision, Confidence need to be at least 2nd cap
4) FS and TV needs to be as close to 10 as possible, but don't go over 10 as it is diminishing return
5) Wall and SB need to be at least 6, they will help you shed block

Do NOT waste any in Big Sack.

Can you show us a D.E. using this advice that is succeeding? yours is clearly not, so I have to think you have access to another build like this, that is succeeding. and again you DON'T NEED WALL.
