I have read that knowing how to block can help you a little better to shed a block.

Anyone have any luck with this or know that it is true?

If so how much would you put into blocking - like 30?

There is a rumor that Bort said something like this long ago that DL-men blocking = shed block. However, I've seem 5 well-built DEs with 40-50 blocking and it does shit to shed block. On the otherhand I've seem DEs up their Wall and Strong Base to 6 (with blocking around 15-20) and can actually spot a few shed blocks in their game.

So draw your own conclusion on what you should do.

Blocking does definitely help shed blocks...a very small amount. Bort definitely said that it helps...a little bit.

40-50 in blocking sounds like quite an over-investment to me.

If you want I can get the exact quote, just let me know. Bort said blocking is in the equation, so it does help but only he knows how much.

Don't bother with AssSniffyUnderDog, he just likes to sniff my ass. At first I though idiots like him, D the Dick DLight, and hyprocrit blutos are just ignorant and I spend a lot of time trying to share with them what I found out. But then the more I share with them the more they get hostile. Now they are just stalking idiots.

But I realized there are plenty of smart people in GLB that sees their hypocrisy and idiocracy, so I will just leave them be.

Two seasons ago, before the nerf.

Bort is secretive about his nerfs, but empirical evidences shows that blocking now has a stronger effect. I'm not saying it has dominant effect, but people with high blocking and Wall and Strong Base SAs have shown more ability to shed blocks this season.
