First step is good, but in general you want +2 to a relevant skill +1 SA. If the team is rolling in cash and you have a lot of bonus tokens, but it and upgrade it, then keep shopping.
pottsman.. we aren't cash strapped, but not rolling in it either. I don't have the bonus tokens to upgrade it now anyway. i haven't been saving bonus tokens, because I've wanted the SP's. I guess I should start stockpiling them?
I'd probably stock up on BTs for a while, then. Most AE isn't useful until its upgraded a few times, and first step by itself is really not worth a buy.
As great as SAs are, the best thing about an AE is getting +2 or 3 to an attribute you have high.
imo you should always stockpile tokens for AEQ. First step is a great SA but it really needs to be 4-5 before it becomes effective. You could always buy it and keep shopping, it depends on your other eq.
It won't help you while blitzing. Closing speed is a great other position SA for run coverage, but the QB isn't considered a ball carrier when he's trying to throw.
Originally posted by SlipScreen is closing speed worth it for a outside blitzing linebacker (it says CB in the description). it also gives me +3 agility.
options?
I'm pretty sure potts is right, but I would think that it would get you a couple more TFLs
