I was just looking to see who would drop down, and I see that Dallas and the Daggers will play in Week 17 for the right to remain in the Pros.

Will the winner contact Bort and ask to be dropped down a league?

Will Kentucky in the East do the same? They will be slated to remain in the Pros if they don't, because of the CPU teams.

There should be, it might give some relief to the owners who get burned out from having to prepare gameplans every other day. It would also eliminate the out of conference game that often determines your playoff ranking depending on whether you lucked out or drew a hard matchup.

We almost already have that with CPU teams. Granted, I hate it when we have 4 or more CPU "byes" a season. On the flip side, I've come to count on 2-3. If we didn't have them, I'd go insane, as if I'm not already there. Sledge made a comment a season or 2 back in some thread that we should go to games every 3 days. I didn't agree then, but I am more and more with every "extra" that Bort adds in. When you're doing both sides of the ball, if you really want to scout a game, it's tough to pull it off if you have anything else going on in your life at all. I'm lucky that I work out of my house and have stretches where I'm not real busy. Those that have regular jobs or are going to college full time, I've got no clue how you do it.

While I wouldn't mind a game every 3 days instead of 2, I shudder to think what the outcry would be in the GLB forums. If people raised such a big fuss about fixes to the DTs and more emphasis being put on strength/tackling for defenders, I don't even want to think about making them wait longer for dotball. lol

More lag between real games = more scrimmages. Not enough dotball = lazy owner.
