I'm wondering if there are any QBs with out there with 60+ confidence and if they've found it beneficial?

As I said in the first post I don't just wanna know if you have 60+ confidence, I want to know if you've seen ay improvement in your QB's performance since getting confindence that high?

Mine's at 59.6, does that count?

He's completing a freakish 71.2% of his passes, up from 65.7% last season when he was in the low 50s.

The major thing I've noticed in watching games, though, is that throwing a pick (as rare as it is, 8 between last season and this season) or getting sacked has almost ZERO effect on his play. Earlier this season he threw a pick-6 and on the NEXT offensive play threw a 76 yard TD pass. That tells me his confidence/morale is pretty much unshakable. He's got that selective amnesia thing goign that all the truly great QBs have.

Quite the change from early in his career when a single bad play could tank his morale and lead to a terrible, terrible game.

I don't know if confidence has as much to do with the increased completion percentage that could be easily tied to better talent around the QB or better gameplanning. I want to say based on what these guys say and what I have personally seen what my QB has gone through, I don't see the difference between 50+ confidence and 60+ confidence, even with the 50 confidence my QB usually don't spiral out of control after throwing an INT. Usually if he has a bad game it is more tied to having pressure on my face all day

I disagree. My QB went from an A league to a Pro league this offseason while gaining 20+ confidence. This season he has 40+ touchdowns and only 2 ints.

Needless to say I'm a firm believer in QB confidence.

What you just said isn't very conclusive, your QB performance didn't all of a sudden take off after gaining the confidence and all of the people talking about only throwing 2-3 Ints thanks to confidence without pointing out that they are in a split QB system didn't contribute to the low Int number for example your QB while moving to a harder league did also join a much stronger team also while your QB cut his Ints to a third of that number he also threw 200 less passes. There are too many factors to say how much of an impact was the confidence boost

How would you know about playing in a harder league when the highest league you're a part of is an AA league...

If you want an idea of how my QB would perform compared to a QB with much lower confidence, compare his stats to our other QB who actually has better throwing, vision, and SA's. My quarterback has 20+ more confidence than him. Also, keep in mind that the defenses we play against are typically level 45+. Our offense is a bit underleveled for SA Pro, so I'm amazed my QB has been getting by throwing as little ints as he has.

My QB's league has nothing to do with my statement, when I stated stronger league you moved from one of the strongest team in a AA league to one of the strongest in a Pro league, with that type of talent around you even with the much stronger competition your stats may improve, as for your comparison with your teammate it is pretty vague without knowing how much higher in those stats is he than you, also I don't know how high his confidence is, also I don't know what his other attributes looks like which could contribute to the Ints. I agree that confidence is very important what we are trying to figure out is to what point

61 Confidence on my QB, he's having a career year so far:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=95534

I've always thought it has helped him shrug off the picks/sacks/drops that occur in the game but it's hard to give any solid data to back that up.
