It was a sombre mood in the dressing room Wednesday afternoon. Despite an upset win against the heavily favored Juggarnauts there was little to cheer. QB Schenavar twice found TE William Quantrill on his way to the End-zone, including a career record 37 yard carry. Wide receiver Gilbert Arenas not to be out done caried two rushes into the End-Zone to complete the bulk of the scoring.

This was nearly the game that didn't happen, fully half the team played their hearts out for a team they had already negotiated a release from. Owner Valentine had announced his impending retirement from the ownership of the team and had agreed through his Gm to release anyone that wanted out of their contracts. GM CrazyLikeCatfish called for players to put on a show for one last time, before the team went their separate ways.

The result, a season high 37-3 win over the Dark Lotus Juggernauts. After the games, the players said their goodbyes and went their separate ways.

We managed to catch up with William Quantrill, the former TE of the Blackjack as he left the stadium. Asked about the future of the Blackjack and it's players he said "It saddens me to see this team go down this way, we had a good team, under rated by many." On his own future he commented "I have offers from US and European teams, I don't foresee being a free agent for very long. Will be hard to find a better coach and Human to work for than Valentine"
