East St Louis Tire Fires at Singapore Marauders:
ESL looks like they may go undefeated this season, something they've not done since Season Three. They've come close a couple times now, but there always seems to be at least one team plucky enough to knock them off. Singapore is a great team and has done it before (Season 5) but can they do it again? TIRE FIRES by 6
Bandar Lampung Pigskin Pirates at Duluth Bulldogs:
The Pigskin Pirates also face many challenges to a 16-0 record including a dangerous Bulldog squad at home. Duluth has pulled upsets against the Garudas and Idols this season, but Bandar Lampung may be a little out of reach. PIGSKIN PIRATES by 14
Kamakura Katanas at Phuket All:
The Katanas would be wise to enjoy their time in Phuket, as they end their season with a brutal stretch of 4 games and could possibly lose them all. This week at least, will be an easy win. KATANAS by 35
P-Funk Allstars at Lost City Idols:
This has got to be considered a "must win" for both teams as the playoff race will be unbelievably tight this season and there are many teams still in contention. Both are solid squads and this should be a good game. I think P-Funk is a little groovier though. ALLSTARS by 3
Krungthep Garudas at Bangkok Seamen:
It's Air versus Water in the battle of Bangkok. The Garudas lost a much needed game against the Idols last week, and need to win this one to to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Seamen were once among the best teams in the region, but have fallen far from those lofty heights in Season 7. I'd never count them entirely out, but their strength has sapped enough for Krungthep to take advantage. GARUDAS by 10
Pa Dong Dragons at Manila Hitmen:
Big game for both teams here as they scramble for postseason positioning. Both squads have several superstars capable of making huge plays to decide games. It's really just a matter of who decides to show up - will be a close one. HITMEN by 7
Macau Gamblers at Portland Dirty Penguins:
PDP may be out of the postseason picture, but they came very close to defeating some great teams this year and still are playing with a lot of pride. Despite their record these guys can compete with anybody and will likely play kingmaker depending on which of the giants left on their schedule they are able to knock off. Expect them to thrash Macau as they gear up to kill others' postseason dreams. DIRTY PENGUINS by 35
Tokyo Whalers at Chaiyaphum Gothic:
Both these teams have plenty to be sad and depressed about, but the Gothic just does misery much better than the Whalers. GOTHIC by 24
