1. Monmouth Evil Monkeys V 6. San Francisco Fire. Monmouth had an easy time hand the Thunder their 4th loss in a row. Monmouths Pass rush did some serious damage once again. SFF Played a hell of a game against HHW and almost pulled off the upset. The were able to control the Wang's ground attack, but were done in by their own turnovers. Evil Monkeys win 41-28

2. Honolulu Hurricane Warriors V 4. Minnesota Marauders. The Warriors had all they could handle today and barely snuck by the Fire. Despite being outgained by 255 yards they were able to turn 3 ints into a win. Minnesota had a tough time with the Spartans today. Despite being able to stop Larry Smith and almost doubling the Spartans yardage total, MM only led by 4 with 6 minutes to go. Galk is going to have to check if his QB's are color blind. 2 more picks kept this one close. MM wins 28-27

3. Las Vegas Freebirds V 9. Oklahoma City Thunderstorm. The Freebirds just keep on winning. The stat line looked closer than the score in this one, as once again Interceptions played huge part in the outcome of the win over the Rebel Yell. OCT was awful today against Monmouth on offense, picking up under 3 yards per play. LVF wins 48-14

5. Lincoln Navigators V 7. Parma Burglars. The Navs played the Daggers so any stats are basically worthless. Parma came to life on both sides of the ball and their was a confirmed Dan Dakota sighting as well. Parma wins 31-30

8. Bourbon Street Bullies V 11. Dallas Orangebloods. BSB played CPU so whatever. Dallas got smoked by the Burglars. Dallas had their offense clicking for a while but that isn't the case lately. BSB wins 35-17

10. Columbus Bucks V 13. Richmond Rebel Yell. The Bucks bounced back with a solid win over the Vaqueros this week. This is a must win game to keep their slim playoff hopes alive. Richmond dropped their 6th straight at least this time the score wasn't worse than the week before. CB wins 28-24

11. South Bay Spartans V 15 Kanaheo Daggers. The Spartans D was solid against MM but a lack of effectiveness by Larry Smith Killed them today. The Daggers just suck. SBS wins 51-10

14. Dallas Vaqueros V 16 Anchorage Penguins Dallas put up a solid fight against the Bucks today and get rewarded with the CPU penguins Dallas wins 255-0

Wow, CV is going with the upsets this week. I think your missing one according to "your" rankings though, I think Richmond will grab a victory.

It's possible Galk, I just don't see any evidence that RRY has their O back in gear yet

We're going to have to do some fancy footwork to make the playoffs. Beating OCT and RRY will be tough enough, but then we've got MEM, HHW, and SFF. We'll have to beat one of them to even get a shot (not sure what the tiebreakers will look like), and two to clinch. As usual, thanks for the writeup cv.

I really don't see Parma beating us. I mean, I'm not going to say never, but I don't see it happening.

They handed it to us last season both in the regular season and in the championship, but Dan Dakota's build was too much at that point.

Edit - And before beating a lower tier team in the Orangebloods, Parma was on a 4 game losing streak that ended with a loss to the Columbus Bucks, another lower tier team.

I agree. But Parma is tough. I think it will be close. I'm gonna go with Lincoln, HHW and Richmond. The rest looks good.

Well, well, well…. I finally get another shot against the Monkeys - it has been 4 long seasons that I've been waiting to get another go at you guys New team, new faces, but any way you start this story I think it ends with MEM taking loss #2 on Sunday. Looking forward to a good game coachv

Hey coachv, no matter what happens tomorrow, if the Marauders are ahead of the Fire when you do the rankings...switch our numbers so they don't cry so much anymore. My ears are starting to hurt.

No problem Galk. Basically The way I see it even if the win tomorrow (WHICH THEY WON'T). They still might be 6 in the Rankings. The best the can after tomorrow is still 6 in the standings. They lose and they drop to 8th maybe 9th in the standings.

Whatever. But thanks a lot for even doing these rankings/predictions. Takes a lot of time but we all appreciate it.

Thanks KS

Bottom line is These are only my opinions on the teams, I do this to make the forum more interesting and active. Nothing more nothing less. Hell Putting my team number one, increases the substantial bullseye already on our backs.. BUT it makes the game interesting.

Man, the West is just a dogfight this year. I agree with most of cv's rankings, but there are definitely no clear cut favorites this season.
