As thread title states, I rolled this CB w/out really looking around and learning the game, as such I have wasted? several SP's on Special Abilities.

Well now after looking around forums It looks like I should probably just retire the player and start a new one. But if it's not needed I don't wanna just give up the Flex Points, So seeking veteran advice.

your build is closed and you won't lose any flex if you retire him now.

if you put any points in s.a's at level 1, then ya go ahead and retire him.

Try to find a good roll.

ok so what's the new one look like?

Go for 8's in blocking, throwing, kicking, and punting. Then try to be about 6'3 or 6'4. that would be a good roll.

Didn't wanna re-roll for hours, but ended up with this 6'4 corner with 8's and 9's @ those stats.

Thanks, really liking the look of this game, looks like a Great addition to my Poker and other Card game addictions. Now to avoid spending to much $ on this game.

You built him at a good time. Don't spend any SPs right now. Train through next season...wait to spend your SPs on important attributes. Don't boost this season. If you get max plays you will be ready for a cap 13 team at the end of next season. Perfect timing.

but his CB wont be ready for todays GLB, he playing for the future GLB.

Strength might be more important in the future, we dont know. You can probably give him advice on what works now and the basic needs of a CB like speed, agility, and vision.

Thats fine, the same concepts still apply. I say 'todays GLB' because thigns change slightly every season. But thats not to say todays successful build strategies will not be working tomorrow because they will.

yup i nearly capped agi through just training him.
